FBI raid in Georgia highlights Trump's preoccupation with the 2020 election The FBI last week moved to replace its top agent in Atlanta, Paul W. Brown, according to people familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a non-public personnel decision. It was not immediately clear why the move, which was not publicized by the FBI, was made. ... got no meaningful insights. is a whole lot about this situation which is out o' the ordinary: dni tulsi gabbard being present during the search, the named prosecutor for the warrant is the acting us attorney from missouri and not georgia, and o' the two fed statutes which got mention in the warrant, one is 'bout the requirement to retain election documents for 22 months following an election... the 2020 election, etc. am not having any idea what evidence the magistrate looked at to come to their determination. wsj has a story about tulsi involvement the part from the story which worries us is, "She is expected to prepare a report on her work, the people said. The administration has discussed executive orders on voting ahead of the midterm elections, two of the officials said." got a plan and are looking for an excuse to implement it? or maybe not. is a whole lotta unknowns save to recognize that fulton county's 2020 election were already investigated a bunch o' times without anybody finding intentional and widespread voter fraud. is there new evidence? if there is new evidence, why is tulsi the one involved, particularly as she personal dismantled the FMIC. is there any there there in fulton county? not enough info to make a meaningful call. HA! Good Fun!

... thanks for doubling down on our point. you don't care about honesty, facts, truth or maligning just about anybody, sans any kinda evidence. you blix all the time, and reflexively. it's your defining board characteristic. ... your post, with this query, "One might wonder why you bothered saying it as an option then, if you were so adamant about not doing it." was shared after our post. "you are the one clown am not gonna ignore anytime soon. even expressed our admitted wishful thinking that others begin verifying your source and fact checking when dealing with zor. why would we ignore you when you have provided us with multiple opportunities respond to and illuminate your misrepresentations since only the middle o' last year, and that is with us being in absentia for weeks and even a month at a time. we offered advice on how boardies should deal with you. ignore is indeed best, at least until you stop lying reflexive. converse, check all your claimed sources and experts. "doveryay, no proveryay "bad advice when dealing with zor. don't trust. " and lord knows you trying to lede and summary your way out o' your new "option" fumble is complete expected. "One might wonder why you bothered saying it as an option then, if you were so adamant about not doing it," doesn't change meaning if Gromnir only provided the recommendation to ignore you. your insistence that posting "option" signaled your awareness o' our "or" alternatives is unconvincing especial since when we read the entire sentence, it is clear you also missed our explanation for why we were not gonna ignore you anytime soon. there were no plausible "one might wonder why," when you made the query. duh... again maybe now you will try and convince us you didn't notice or didn't realize post placement 'cause you haven't really been paying attention... or that we got owned by you for following you down your "an option" rabbit hole o' nonsense? btw, no pahlavi in the headlines or "ledes" o' the first 60 stories for iran + protests produced by our search engine lazy effort. much embiggening, eh? HA! Good Fun!

The actual deaths for North Korea is likely around 100, since Kim opened a memorial for them. You can count how many pictures there are in the videos (though CNN doesn't, and repeats the claim of 4000 casualties). It's probably better than claims based on the Russians going out under fire to blowtorch dead koreans to hide numbers, which was an actual scenario proposed for the low apparent casualties compared to claimed. Oryx has the same problem that video footage has when assigning casualties: it has to be videoed/ pictured, and the Ukrainians are far more likely to do that. They also, well, aren't unbiased Missing is a category for Ukraine because there are a lot of people 'missing': it's cheaper than admitting that the people are dead, since dying in service elicits a payout. Ukraine itself admits to a bit less than 60k in that category (which is distinct from the two 'deserter' categories of AWOL and not reporting). Not like Russia is being 'nice' handing over bodies; it's returning corpses because they know it costs Ukraine a lot of money when they go from missing to confirmed dead.

Jesus, that's full of it even for you. I didn't see anything wrong with impugning the 'honour' of journalists for the reasons I stated- they'd consistently been wrong beforehand on Ukraine and other similar situations. Fact. You don't get much credit for a 1/6 accuracy rate, on that specific issue plus sundries for the denominator if you count the others, or at least you shouldn't. Indeed, one might think you'd get some flak for the 5/6+ times you were wrong. But apparently not. This is also a forum; I'm not blackballing them for the Pulitzer same as you aren't going to get the AMA or whoever it is to revoke the medical certificates or whatever of Trump's medical staff. The only reason I care about you questioning the integrity of those 'quacks' (most professional article writer evar! most convincing evidence evar!) is because of the hypocrisy, not because of some concept of their honour. Academics aren't likely to mind you quoting them, but they may well mildly dislike you hiding behind their opinions when you're wrong, if they learn about it. If they're good academics they probably don't much like their incorrect views being constantly defended past the point of absurdity when incorrect. But they especially might not like it if they knew you'd have claimed it as a win, if it had been one, and definitely would not have just posted it for academic interest to stimulate discussion or whatever you're now telling yourself under those circumstances. You spent pages and pages and pages over months and months defending that article- from multiple people-, after all, and only switched fullscale to the 'but muh Harvard Prof' after the six month prediction had conclusively elapsed. Your evidence based approach to Trump's health mostly amounts to vibes, like Trump taking dementia tests in and of itself being evidence he had dementia. Indeed, under your conditions he'd have had dementia for 8 years and through two presidential campaigns, since he started taking them in... 2018, wasn't it? As for the example of options... could you prove my point about you just randomly writing words to bore the other person any better? Your scenario/ example isn't equivalent and barely even makes sense. Did you perhaps think you'd posted that you'd never actually do it before saying it? Because you didn't, as I reminded you you said it after. I even quoted the relevant paragraph for you, same as when you said I didn't say it was option I quoted that I in fact did.

Gaza - War does not determine who is right - only who is left
https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/2026-01-29/ty-article/.premium/idf-accepts-gaza-health-ministry-estimate-of-over-70-000-palestinians-killed-in-the-war/0000019c-0918-dec4-adfd-fd5dde830000 "The IDF has accepted the estimate of the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry that approximately 71,000 Palestinians were killed during the Israel-Gaza war, noting that the number does not include missing residents who are potentially buried under rubble." Although I'm sure 80% will be combatants or "fighting age males" which will assuage anxieties on Blue Team.

Just wondering why it's not in game yet?
So I have many hundreds of hours from grounded 1 to 2 and am wondering why the two most useful things from grounded 1 are not in grounded 2 yet? I am referring to the wheel mutation build swapping and the handy gnat for building. Anyone have any info as to why the mutation swap became so terrible now when it was super useful before?

Again, no one is taking Zelensky numbers seriously. I'm taking visual confirmed numbers from Andrew Perpetua and Oryx seriously. And data from Russians like Strelkov, Vladimir Chirkin, Murz, Prigozhin, and Maxim Kalashnikov seriously, alongside analysts like Anders Puck. According to Oryx : Category Russian Losses (Confirmed) Ukrainian Losses (Confirmed) Ratio (RU:UA) Tanks ~3,000+ 1,386 ~2-3:1 IFVs ~5,000+ 1,532 ~3-4:1 APCs/MRAPs ~4,000+ 509+ ~4-8:1 Total Armor ~12,000-15,000+ ~5,500 ~3:1 And disagree about Obituaries. People that just get MIA or are not registered as dead by its officers wouldn't end in obituaries. To have a notion on how great Anders Puck is, look what he posted at January 2022. He not only predicted the invasion but also predicted maximalist objectives and that the war wouldn't go as RU predicted. Later, on the video "Russia's new forever war in Ukraine, 11MAR2022" he predicted a very long war. Russia has multiple times more manpower. Also has help from North Koreans, Cubans and many other allies. If Ukraine was not inflicting much more casualties, Russia would already have defeated Ukrainian army.

Grounded 2 weapon ideas
Not sure if anyone will see this but I’ll try anyway. I think these weapons would be a cool addition to the game: Flail - I think this could be very interesting because it could be blunt damage or if it has spikes, piercing damage. Would also be cool if it could extend and retract, giving you another range friendly melee weapon. Element infused power gauntlet - this idea can be expanded on but it would be a melee ranged elemental weapon. It’s a charged based small explosion weapon, pure sour damage or spicy damage or whatever element it is. Kind of like a shotgun. The staffs are cool but only ranged focused. Scythe change - I had an idea for the scythe that maybe you can’t block with it but in return, you get a different attack that could sap the life of bugs you kill. Or maybe an over shield or extra damage for a brief time. Launcher - this one is just more a fun thought but it would be like the fatman from Fallout and you would load it with the hand bombs you craft and you could add different elements and effects.

this has gone to a bizarre place. you cannot be serious. if the only option we had presented were ignoring you, your response o'," One might wonder why you bothered saying it as an option then, if you were so adamant about not doing it," would remain ridiculous seeing as how we fully answered that question BEFORE you asked it. but the fact you put the word "option" into the query would not have been perplexing to us in light o' the fact we supplied only one option. our singular recommendation would have indeed been "an option." duh. if we suggested that purchasing a huge life insurance plan and then indulging murder by cop was an excellent retirement plan for your family, you coulda responded exact the same way with, "One might wonder why you bothered saying it as an option then, if you were so adamant about not doing it," and if Gromnir had fixated on the word option, railing about how we had not presented an "or" alternative, we would look positive insane with that bit o' nonsensical deflection... and yet here we are, with zor playing the role o' the most obtuse person ever. you got a long history o' blixing, so... edit: zor's biggest reveal from the current bumbling response chain weren't his lazy reliance on an internet search population or his mendacity regarding ledes and summaries... which were just plain silly. nope, we let it slide at the time, 'cause we didn't want to go to a full on character evaluation, but since you is ok with it, "lol, the poor unfortunate journalists, it's their eternal good fortune that Gromnir is on the case to defend them from vile calumny on the Obsidian forums. Of course, works a bit less well when you've just thrown a Harvard Professor under the bus to avoid admitting you were wrong. And when you've accused Trump's medical staff of effectively lying about his health to prop up your speculation about it." you make clear that you honest don't see anything wrong with attributing bad intent to journalists, cops, soldiers, politicians or just about anybody else, regardless o' any evidence to support such claims. even when your claims is proved wrong, there is no remorse. am finding that sorta behaviour to be disquieting. academics is unlikely to mind if you quote them. observe how a professor predicted a likely currency collapse if drastic measures were not taken is not gonna enrage a typical academic, but am seeing how that might bother zor. converse, if we had claimed the professor had predicted a currency collapse if severe austerity measures were not taken, and the professor had actually opined that russia were never in any danger o' economic pain from sanctions coupled with the oil situation, then am thinking he would have cause for outrage. if we blixed him, calling the academic a liar when our own misrepresentation were revealed, then am thinking it would show a serious flaw in our character. and yeah, am suspicious o' the claims made by trump's doctors. seeing as how there has been questions about the truthfulness o' trump doctor claims since at least 2018, one wonders why zor is so credulous. regardless, doesn't look like we rushed this one either. am not perfect. no doubt am having proverbial jumped the gun more than once in spite o' our admonishments that doing so is wrong. am recalling that we accused rittenhouse (mention him as he is back in the news) o' taking a firearm across state lines when such was not the case. sure, we qualified that we hadn't been paying much attention to the trial, but we were wrong about the state line issue and we shoulda' self-educated more thorough before opening our gob on that point. our bad. we got all kinda character flaws; no argument. one reason we dislike trump so much is his constant lying. am not sure why in 2026 it is more important to have a viral take than to provide an honest and reflective response. lack o' fairness also triggers us more than it should. maybe we will work on such... maybe after we see zor ease up on the reflexive blixing? HA! Good Fun!

Even if Zelensky were telling the truth- and he may well be, twenty if not an unreasonable number given that some bodies will be hard to identify and he used the plural exchanges so it would be over thousands of returnees- that would barely shift the ratio- eg to ~ 16:1 if we applied it to the last batch- which is not really significant. That's also why the recent exchange was interesting; it should include the casualties Ukraine claimed from Kupiansk, since they did advance there, and claimed hundreds of Russian dead, and should have been able to recover their bodies after advancing. Instead, it wasn't much different from previous times; about twice the number of Russians but in absolute terms only ~20 more. As previous, I personally tend towards the obituary approach being most accurate, at least in terms of the trends between the two.

lolwut. Saying it was an option does not preclude there being other options- indeed, it more than implies that there are other possibilities offered, or it wouldn't be an option. That isn't exactly university english. I've said multiple times that your tactic would be to try and bore the life out of me, I always knew ignoring me was an empty threat. Maybe you need a reminder of what you said? So again, why say there's an option to ignore if you were never going to do so? Ok as, per usual your grammar is appalling and you left out the pronouns, but surely even you can recognise 'am' as the first person single form (ie referring to you, Gromnir) of to be and 'us' as first person plural (referring to you, Gromnir, and others). You got one thing right though.

False. Russia send Russian bodies saying that are Ukrainain bodies ( https://www.ctvnews.ca/world/russia-ukraine-war/article/ukraine-received-at-least-20-bodies-of-russian-soldiers-in-recent-exchanges-zelenskyy-says/ ) besides, Ukraine constantly retreats, which makes retrieving bodies much harder. That said, you depics heavy casualties as something which only Ukraine claims. Russians like Strelkov, Vladimir Chirkin, Murz, Prigozhin, and Maxim Kalashnikov, ALL said that Russia is taking heavy loses. Murz in particular got "suicided" after exposing heavy loses. Strelkov, jailed. EU should be more clear about consequences of Russia victory. Not talk about morals.

Ukraine Conflict - war continues on
The issue isn't really that Ukraine lies about casualties- Russia most certainly does as well- it's more that their claims tend to be accepted without much if any criticism even when they don't make any real sense. That is done in part for 'morale' reasons, for want of a better word, but it does lead to unrealistic expectations among the general population and, if their statements are taken at face value, among intelligence agencies etc who repeat them. Ironically, doesn't seem to have that much effect in Ukraine itself, where war enthusiasm has clearly dropped massively since 2022. Probably the best measure, at least in the sense that it's broadly speaking independent and any biases should be similar is the monitoring of formal obituaries and social media obituaries carried out by mediazona and ualosses. That comes out with a close to 1:1 ratio, albeit with a lot of the Ukrainian losses technically listed as 'missing' rather than dead; and it's obviously an underestimate of true numbers but should be a similar underestimate for both sides. Since it's current and fairly relevant, the latest body exchange yesterday was 1000 Ukrainian to 38 Russian. There are plenty of reasons to accept that the real casualty rate isn't 25:1 in Russia's favour of course, not least that the war would be over if it was, but also this is over a time period where Ukraine claimed to kill hundreds of Russians in Kupiansk, a city they'd recaptured so should have been able to claim most bodies from.

Yep. They don't think what would happen if Ukraine capitulates. They implicitly assume: Demobilization is administratively smooth Economies can shrink without exploding Armed, radicalized populations will politely accept unemployment and humiliation Symbols, language, and memory politics are “cosmetic issues” This is ahistorical thinking. In Masada (73 AD), Jews chose mass suicide over disarmament. Zulus at Isandlwana (1879) at a much smaller number, without firearms, fought against the hegemonic power at that time (the British) when the British demanded disarmament. Those aren't easy demands. Would have extreme consequences. For eg, giving so many territory incurs plus the "demilitarization" requiring the destruction of teh Ukrainian defense industry and all ties with European investors would bankrupt Ukraine. Plus hundreds of thousands of now unemployed armed dudes that have no job due the Weimar style demilitarization, Russian and commie symbols being forced into Lviv, Ukraine would have to become a diehard police state while bankrupting itself and defaulting. Two things would happen if Ukraine capitulates. 1 - The largest refugee crisis of human history in two huge waves. After capitulation, a huge wave. After the consequences of capitulation comes, a much larger wave. Estonian former president speculated in 25 million refugees. 2 - Europe destabilized and a much worse war coming. Destabilization happens every time that Carthaginian peace terms are imposed into someone. From Carthage to Weimar Germany. Multiple economists from Keynes to Mises warned that Versailles in particular demilitarization and cultural impositions(war guilty clauses) which are much less severe than RU demands would destabilize Europe. Yet to appease some French hardlines, it was imposed upon Germany. Germany become radicalized and launched the most devastating war in human history as a result of less serious demilitarization and humiliation.
