It just so happens that I have a few ideas for grounded 2 buggy projects. It's up to you to tell me what you think. First of all, I'd like to say that the idea of making the game more rpg-accessible is a real pleasure in my eyes, and the class synergy is really nice. 4 classes is a good start, but why not add 1 or 2 more? A bard: the bard is a universal rpg class. How about a class that plays music and airs in the middle of a fight in order to chew up its team and debuff the enemy mob. Musical weapons created from cricket vocal chords, for example. Or instruments carved from natural elements to create weapons that don't necessarily require you to kill insects! An essentially multiplayer class, like the queen wasp's bow, which could be paired with her buggy in combat to be just as destructive solo. Summoners: a much underestimated class in grounded 1, thanks in particular to the numerous summoning trinkets and thorns, the latter could be a class suited to ranged combat, with a scepter to summon mobs of varying levels. Better still, a buggy dedicated to creature buffing could work in synergy with it. What's more, it would be interesting at level 3 to offer the possibility of summoning 2 buggys at the same time for combat. Finally, my addition. My favorite: I particularly like buggies. they're excellent and, depending on our class, offer incredible synergy possibilities. An insect that can take damage for the rogue, mage or bowman, and creatures with more access to damage for the warrior, summoner or bard ;). Here are my suggestions for these incredible insects: - How about, for example, customizing our buggies with armor, increasing their damage, life or transport capabilities. A buggy containing a cooking spit, for example, would be excellent? Then push the possibility of customization, this is due to my rpg fan side but what about introducing a skill tree for our dear mounts. They can die in difficult situations, so let's make it important to keep them alive, maintain them and make them fight, with an experience system that would allow them to win. Bonus attacks, unique skills or stat increases. Let's imagine an Orbweaver that could bite and poison, allowing the rogue to strike like a madman. Or an ant that could call on two workers in battle to help out without having to go looking for them? The possibilities are endless, so help us spread the word, even if it doesn't incorporate these ideas!

1. Ant mounts What i really liked about grounded and still about grounded 2 is that almost every piece of equipment is viable but apart from basic tools and weapons you´re not forced to use anything specific. however with the root walls that kinda changed. for exploration you basically NEED the soldier ant pet, however it´s fighting and survivability potential is very limited. I´d either make it so you can have multiple of the same pet (Tier I 3, Tier II 2, Tier III+ 1) or add a sort of leveling system for pets (similar to Smalland: survive the wilds) or add specific armors and mutations to buff pets (similar to summoning builds from grounded) 2. Spider nest building I dont know if this is intentional but i dont think so. For some reason the placement of the spider-nest is very weird and feels bugged (no pun intended because spiders aren´t bugs). I´d love to see that fixed. 3. Performance Propably an obvious one but the performance of grounded 2 is currently not... ideal. I have a somewhat beefy PC that was able to run grounded smoothly on 60 FPS however it keeps struggling and lagging on grounded 2, which is especially apparent in multiplayer. it´s also not helpful for fighting. I have no programming experience and only a VERY basic understanding of code, so i basically dont know what i´m talking about but i have an idea. what if you would "unload" every creature that is more that 30cm away from all players and not currently engaged in a fight. that might help with performance (if it´s not already implemented) while also maintaining the immersion. but again i have no idea what i´m talking about.

+1, please — I loved the first game! I don't mind spiders, but I just can't deal with ****roaches… please, I really want to play Grounded 2.

Its random and when it happens its catastrophic. I will no longer save on a rock or stick I make damn sure I am on the ground. Ive had it happen multiple times now where i Load and my ant will be stuck and I cant see him like hes invisible and I cant summon or whistle he become one with the environment. Ive loaded a save and my character was in a rock, I couldnt jump out or run out I was just stuck. Had another instance where a part of a hotdog rolled over me and I was stuck in it...super cool. My favorite so far is when I rest my ant will be stuck in the ground.

It would be so much easier to report bugs in game as is available in other early access games. Thanks!

Good Old Games still oldies but goodies

Not too sure we're showing them by adding this to our libraries, though. But gamers are rising up. Maybe Postal 2 will be worth a look see, Civvie 11 always praises it. I was wondering where Hatred was, but that edgelord dross isn't even on the store. -
Key Bindings (Buggy Controls)
FatBattleCat replied to LiminalLadd's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
I am also having difficulty with buggy controls, but also problems remapping other keys as well. I use a Kinesis Advantage2 ergonomic keyboard due to hand pain. My WASD is CXV left-arrow. Looking forward to rebinding all! (LOVING the game!!) -

As far as I know, the only way to get your backpack from unreachable areas is to use the Recover Backpack option under the Game Repair. You can only do it once per save load so if it happens again you'll have to reload a save. -
I love the buggies but do miss the ziplines, there was something super satisfying about zipping across map and getting to take in the environment, and with how gorgeous the park looks I imagine would be just as magical in the sequel. It would be great if it could be used alongside the other traversal features to give players choice in how they play (buggies, I imagine fast-travel is coming with the tubes seen in some ranger stations like the one in spawn and near burgl) Not to go too sims but maybe an upgraded version of the omni-tool variants could allow you to permanently manipulate the terrain making building bases a bit easier, by removing plants, rocks, evening out gradient etc, not too sure how hard this would be to code and stabilize, but would be such a quality of life improvement as it can be annoying to work hard on a based only hit an obstruction error or for plants to randomly appear in the middle of the structure. I would love to see the following bugs which could have the linked drops or for items and weapons: Luna moths - armor set that has a luminous effect allowing the player to see in dark areas or at night without needing to craft a torch or glowstick, or as they don't have a mouth could prevent hunger (also this could look so cool) Earthworms - armor set that has a health regen bonus when full set is worn but damage reduction only when pieces are worn. Could be located in maybe a allotment area that would have a compost bin. Centipedes - shield (strong and meant for end game content and maybe a whip style weapon (like an urumi using their tails) or a fork/trident weapon Dragonflies - near the pond/lake area, could use there wings as stain glass for windows on bases (idk I think their wings are pretty), possible flying mount that multiple players could ride due to the long body (helpful in scenarios where one players Buggie has died) Crickets/Grasshoppers - armor to increase jump height or used as a mount, also edible parts for cooking without cookery recipes Honey bees - willow mentioned them when looking at a bumble bee, maybe there could be a apiary in the park? Honey could be used for healing items that give buffs (antiseptic), food items or traps that slow enemies. Maybe they attack and die straight away but in swarm (kinda like the orc and infected weevils do?) Stick insect boss - Greatsword style weapon could be made from their drop (slower but more powerful) Rhino beetle - could be used as a mount used to smash through obstacles and/or used to harvest pebbles, marble, quartzite in one hit, could use drops to make a scimitar, great lance or other type of curved weapon Also just to say, despite some bugs the games is amazing and so fun, but the best thing I think is it feels like a sequel and has what made the first game great. Keep up the good work guys it'll prob be a manic few months but I know you'll get there!!

emjay0 started following Getting kicked from my friends game CONSTANTLY
-
It's actually getting so frustrating now. We have been playing since launch, both on Steam, and I have joined his game. I get kicked about every 15 minutes. Sometimes, like now, I can't even get back in the game because I will load in and get kicked again immediately. I get no error codes or anything, just 'you've lost connection' at random times. Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix?

Has this fixed the Now Riposte achievement being unobtainable? This is quite an annoyance

Bugs I came Across
Witcher Drenom posted a topic in Grounded 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hello Grounded 2 Developers/Team, So far I am enjoying the game however there are a lot of bugs I came across while playing with my friend. One of those bugs among many other things (like graphics, lag and getting frozen even when not using high display settings, stuttering, and way to much bloom in certain areas.) I was using Pete and going back to our base and my entire screen and game crashed shortly after displaying all these options to place, close, recycle, looks like an option for zipline came up too, and that something was processing and inventory full on the UI. Please see my image below I am providing. I am hoping we get a stability, and optimization patch here soon.- 3 replies

Well, the culprit behind the censorship "drama" is pretty much attacking both "woke" and "anti-woke" content -
Yeah, with all the restaurants around, that something smells a bit burned every now and then, doesn't ring alarm bells - it just makes me think "What idiot didn't maintain their Dunstabzugshaube?" (yeah, I think that word in German) Also it is summer, there are fires around Athens every year and the whole city can smell of ash... And I can be absentminded or hyperfocus.
