Same here. I attempted to negotiate peace between both sides but ultimately wound up killing him, going against the dialogue choices that I made. I'm starting to think that broke the quest.

I am stuck on this quest. I killed William Wray and now I am supposed to go back to talk to Auntie face to face in her office but I'm not able to use the elevator that takes me up there. Is this a bug or did I miss a step somewhere?

Can confirm, I encountered the similar bug today. But un my case, there's just no dialog options with Ruth except for "leave conversation". And the quest mark just stays over her. I tried reloading the game, traveling to another planet and back to Cloister, shooting Ruth then paying off my bounty. Nothing worked.

Man, you made some very different choices than I did. My first planet played out quite a bit differently.

On Inez companion quest Full Measures, I’ve hit a bug. After confronting and sparing Willard Konnen, I get his keycard and am trying to dig up dirt (optional objective). I read his terminal for the emails, but I don’t have high enough hack to break the passcode or high enough observation to understand the blackboard. I learn from his assistant about the party room, unlock it, and find the information about WHK enterprises. However, my quest says that I’ve found the information that he was siphoning money, but that there ‘might be more’. when I go to the studio, I can’t tell them about WHK enterprises. Instead I can only say he was siphoning money “somewhere” and that causes me to fail the interview. anyone else have this issue? Is the terminal hack and/or blackboard required to complete?

15hours into it, finished first planet and I am really struggling with it. I don't disagree with anything you have written, I think system wise it's a really smartly designed, streamlined RPG, I just really struggle to connect with anything story wise. I found main area's first quest to be a bit of a mess:

Same issue basically here. I actually killed the guy in the other room before running up the stairs opened by the rift. Last save is from days ago. Completely screwed, nearly 40 hours in and I’m unable to finish the game. Man they gotta fix this. Or get rid fast travel restriction or something can’t have this kind of game breaking softlock it’s crazy

yup, been experiencing this for a while and don't want to do the final quest until this is turned in sadly

I’m stuck on the following area and when exiting my ship to enter cloister overlands my game crashes and goes to Xbox menu. Happens every time now and even switching to alternate quests it shuts down when I travel. if helpful I had attacked all personnel in cloister and am attempting to progress into a sealed area for advancing the plot but no attackers left and was somewhat stuck at this point in the game. How do I proceed? I loaded an older save and it still shut the game down when I fast travel.

Fingers crossed! I'm doing my best to play the game as slowly as possible so I don't have to wait before going beyond the point of no return

I like playing in 3rd person rather than first but I've noticed it dometimes bugs out in combat and switches to first person and you cannot switch back or change weapons or throw explosives. You have to save it and re-load and its back to normal. Not great when in a gun battle or surrounded by monsters / aliens. Oh and that Inez speech bubble thing has ruined my playthrough.

Sadly, no D; I've raised it with Obsidian technician support who said it's been passed on to their QA team for investigation so fingers crossed it gets fixed in the next patch

I’m completely stuck here as well. I repaired the terminal initially, but then it wouldn’t do anything to call the troops. So I completed everything myself, but now there’s no one to hand the calcaduceus off to. The terminal is still bugged and won’t work. I’ve tried talking to all the npcs and it’s all casual conversation. The recent patch clearly didn’t fix this. I’m debating finishing the game just myself, without the order support, or wait for a fix.

Just here to agree on the Kana bug, The game is freezing/getting stuck on waiting and obviously with no auto-saves before combat/can't save during combat if it happens you're losing a portion of your save every time in having to go back and redo what you missed. It's frequent enough its happening every 2/3 encounters for me. So much so I'll likely remove chanters from my party for now till fixed. Happy to provide logs if it helps.

I’m having this same issue. I hope it can be resolved soon because I want to finish the game.
