Wow, I wasn't expecting it to be that soon. I was expecting "beta in two weeks" or similar. I was getting ready for another wait. This is awesome.

Just as well I haven't played pillars for a while, hopefully I can now do a couple of "canon" play throughs with the same portraits I'll use in Deadfire.

It was included in tiers $99+ and could be added as add-on for the others.

Yeah I considered it, but since I only wanted digital rewards this time (adding on shipping to here for physical goods put me off it, especially since I didn't really do much with the physical stuff last time) the only reason for me to go higher really was for the beta access, and I have come to the realisation that I don't enjoy playing in beta.  I prefer to wait for the full game release, avoiding spoilers and getting tired of the gameplay.  Plus, I'm a grump old git these days.

So, I received my key on the backer portal, registered it in steam, but it doesn't appear in my library... Anyone else having this issue ?

Same (and restarting Steam does not change anything for those wondering).

We can do 2 things now:

 

1) Grab torches and pitchforks and storm Obsidian HQ;

2) Cry.

 

I prefer the latter, for various reasons.

 

Edit: but torches and pitchforks can be pretty cool too.
