Dark_Ansem
Pillars of Eternity 1 music was nice, but nothing exceptional. Can we expect more variety, in this sequel? something more significant for boss battles, specific moments and whatnot? In-Development: Turn-Based cRPG, late backing OPEN! Jotra
More varied music would be great. Don't really remember PoE music other than main theme.
Leferd
I like the calm of the Dyrford theme. Granted, it got stuck in my head after playing 25+ hours of the beta. Starwars
I think the best parts of the PoE soundtrack was stuff attached to the various city-districts. My favorite is the one that plays in the first district of Twin Elms, I love that so much. How it starts with the harp with the soft, soft strings (synth?) in the background and then the piano enters... aah, wonderful. Very soothing. I hope for more variety also. I would especially love more "source music", music that exists within the game itself. More tavern songs, maybe some sea shanties, stuff like that. 1 Listen to my home-made recordings (some original songs, some not): http://www.youtube.c...low=grid&view=
Bill Gates' Son
I'm hoping for more lighthearted and catchy themes now that we're in a adventure like setting instead of a setting with a soulless baby plague.
Leferd
I prefer "town" music myself. To this day, I still think Targos - Skeleton of a Town from IWD2 is the best. A really good version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iLKjspPj_k 2 "Things are funny...are comedic, because they mix the real with the absurd." - Buzz Aldrin."P-O-T-A-T-O-E" - Dan Quayle
Archaven
I for one find the battle music annoying in first PoE. I hope we can have more variety of them and on epic boss-fights, maybe Obsidian can learn from Dragon Age Inquisition dragon battle music.

jaganntha
I liked the music, it was a pleasant experience to play, surely with the goal accomplished will improve the variety and quality
VahnXIII
More variety is great, but I'd also like the music to fit the setting. For the Deadfire Archipelago, how about having music that captures the essence of adventuring on the open sea and exploring islands? Pillars of the Caribbean anyone?
algroth
I prefer "town" music myself. To this day, I still think Targos - Skeleton of a Town from IWD2 is the best. A really good version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iLKjspPj_k I absolutely loved that in Icewind Dale 2, I agree. CottonWolf
Another vote for boss music, the fact that there wasn't really any until White March is baffling. Boss themes are good, people!
Regggler
Just my 2 cents: I had no issue with the PoE soundtrack whatsoever. I'm actually quite fond of it. Endure. In enduring, grow strong.
FlintlockJazz
I like PoE's music, very fitting and grows on ya. Has a melancholy vibe to it which I like. As to town music in general, I always like the Tristam town music in the first Diablo.
