After the Grizz were eliminated I was so upset I just turned off the NBA from my consciousness for a while. But it's cool. I'm over that now. I'm paying attention again. you have to admit, if the Cavs beat GSW (something I still think is unlikely) Lebron will have to be acknowledged as on of the greatest players ever. Because without him they don't even make the playoffs.

I'm all for hard fouls and physical play. But let's leave the thuggery and goonsmanship culture in sport to Kaneda.

Looks like it's Fred Hoiberg to Chicago and Alvin Gentry to NOLA. Really good hires for both teams. Anthony Davis is going to feast next year.

CAVS are favored to win it all.  But at 3-2 to win the championship, those are terrible odds to take.

The Warriors, with an over/under at 50.5 and 12-1 to take the West, the smart VEGAS bet would be taking the over and putting them down on making the Finals. 12 -1?? I'd have to turn in my Degenerate Gambler Members Only card not to take them odds.

Look at this dolt. Picking the Warriors. Lols.

The current line is with the Dubs as -270 favorites. That's like bigger than Mayweather v Pacquiao.

My FINALS prediction: I'll amend it to GSW in 6 with Draymond Green as the Darkhorse MVP. Gonna be Curry though with him as the -175 favorite.

GS is not winning in CLE. It'll be 5 or 7 games. I say 5. GS is too good to lose to the Cleveland Lebrons. 12 on 1 isn't fair odds.

That Kyrie injury looks bad. I can see Cleveland double down on Lebron ISO's for the rest of the series.

Yeah but that's not gonna win them the series. We saw it in OT. We even saw it on the last possession in regulation. That kind of style means Lebron has to shoot perfectly which is not going to happen. CLE was dreadful in OT. Only points  was at the end when GS basically let  Lebron walk to the net. L0L

Still, being on the road, CLE played close. Then again, so did HOU....

The fact that CLE lost when Lebron set a personal best for points in the Finals 9when he has a pretty good sample size) is not a good sign.

\Yet again, Lebron is the best player  but on the worst team (Out of two) playing. :(

Gotta hope Kyrie Irving is ok, you hate to see an injury like that.

From the Warriors perspective, if they can get up by 10, I don't see how Cleveland can come back.  The Rockets were super dangerous and cut down a lot of leads, but I just don't see how the Cavs can generate quick points when they need them.

Warriors strategy was essentially to let Lebron get His on tough single coverage D by committee and prevent anyone else from getting good looks.

Give Iguodala the game ball though. He forced some really tough shots on Lebron (who made plenty) but he had to work for them.

What the hell was that garbage. Some brutal basektball. Cavs won but I just don't see them winning 4 out of 7. James is trying way too hard, exhorting so much effort, that in last part of games he just has no energy left. And, the reffing (despite a lot of fouls calls) is dreadful. The Cavs aren't ready to win. Maybe next season.

Delly plays D. Kyrie doesn't. Lebron was an effective blunt instrument tonight.

Curry's not going to shoot like this the rest of the series.

I'll say this if Cleveland wins, the entire league espciially GS should be ashamed of themselves. That's a team - despite Lebron - who should never be able to call themselves 'best team in NBA'\. That's PUKE WORTHY.

Kyrie did give Curry problems in game 1, but still though Delly is the better defender.
