August 18, 201411 yr My Paladin As Always (since Ultima series) : Elric v. Dale A Thief or a Ranger : Jack Raven
August 19, 201411 yr Ilandel SomeLastNameIHaven'tThoughtUpYetThatSeemsToFitTheLore. I usually just try to think up a not-too-cheesy sounding "your noble house" name (such as... I dunno, Stormhaven) , but, in this one, I might try to make it fit the game's language roots a bit better than just a compound English word. Should we not start with some Ipelagos, or at least some Greater Ipelagos, before tackling a named Arch Ipelago? 6_u
August 19, 201411 yr I will be using either Seamus Redfern or Ned Finnegan. Those are my go-to for character names. I will probably play a Ranger, though Druid is tempting too.
January 21, 20179 yr Heh, that's quite a necro right there. On topic through: probably Neylari or Nerine P.S. Does anyone else get a deeper connection with his character if it's name is starting with a specific letter? Kind of strange gimmick, but (with few exceptions) most of my rpg character names were starting with "N": Nard, Nagtar, Nemesis, Narenthes, Nyara, Neruviel, Naylah, Naijaro, Naylin. PoE1 useful stuff: attack speed calculator, unofficial patch mod, attack speed mechanics, dot mechanics, modals exclusivity rules PoE2 useful stuff: community patch, attack speed mechanics, enemy AR and defenses
January 24, 20179 yr same as always, Severian, since this is the closest thing I'll ever see of an RPG set in the Book of the New Sun setting.
January 25, 20179 yr Won't Torment probably be closer? This is Renaissance the first time around; Book of the New Sun has all those weird old technologies lying around. Also, my character's name will be blueman, after my first BG character. Edited January 25, 20179 yr by anameforobsidian
