I don't care for reddit and many popular sites on the internet.  You want to do it feel free, but when you open the flood gates you also have to deal with the sewer that comes out.  I care about the beta becoming successful for Obsidian and making the game better.  I do not care about being internet famous or getting hits/views/follows.

 

 

 It's not about "being internet famous" you dolt, it's about promoting Pillars of Eternity to a larger audience. Do you, or do you not want the game to be commercially successful? Then you have to advertise the game.

Hey all, just an update on episode 2:

 

I'm having really nasty video lag / poor optimization lag in the character and inventory screens and during loading screens. Had to literally spend 2 hours in Premier fixing the de-sync issues it caused. I'm either going to see if I can come up with another way to record it or be forced to ****-can this series for the time being. Episode 2 is encoding/uploading now. Should be up in 1 hour.

This might be the last one for awhile because of the aforementioned performance issues, not to mention there are other serious bugs that make an LP tough. Not surprisingly, an early beta test is somewhat unstable for this. I will try to continue if I can. 

No idea when I'm going to do #3, but I am. My last game was bugged so my journal kept resetting.

Yeah, I'm afraid of that journal bug myself. Kinda killing my drive to keep going with videos right now. I'll likely wait for a later stage of beta. Just seems like the logical thing to do.

Managed to watch half of Ashtonw's druid playthrough    - but then my internet connection bugged out (it's sometimes fast for a while but then drops to a few kb/s so streaming becomes promblematic).

Still - got a good idea and looks like I'll have fun playing a druid so thanks for that
