Labadal
Why not PlayStation Vita while we're at it? I'd love to play an Obsidian game while in the WC. Edited August 14, 2014 by Labadal
Keyrock
Why not PlayStation Vita while we're at it? I'd love to play an Obsidian game while in the WC. My biggest question about that, and this is the reason I'd likely not get this for my Android phone, is how well would a card game work on a small screen like that? If you have a dozen cards (I've never played the physical card game, so I don't know if that's a scenario that would happen) out on the screen, they'd be really small and the text would be incredibly hard to read. They could put in a zoom function, I guess, so that you could comfortably read what's on the card, but if you're constantly having to zoom in and out on cards, it could get quite tedious. How big is the Vita screen? It's about 5", right? That would be better than my teeny 4" phone screen, but still quite small. The next time I upgrade my phone (not any time soon), I may get a phablet, around 6"-ish, but even that would be a bit small, methinks. Labadal
Yes, 5 inches, with a resolution of 960 by 544 pixels. I was mostly saying it in a joking manner, but I would actually try it if it happened. But as you say, they would have to adapt it in a good way. But if the game can come out on mobile, it could be doable on the PSV. However, the possibility of this happening equals zero in my opinion. Mamoulian War
Mac and Linux versions would be nice too. Just putting my voice here with Keyrock. Make this happen and put it on GoG.com, and I'll be in Nirvana The Card Game was always something I wanted to play hard, but unfortunately, not enough friends interested in it PC version would be a blessing for me. 1 Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC. ikarinokami
based on an interview at Gen con I saw, there will be a windows version but they can't announce yet. I'm not sure why they have to announce the ios version first and not the other versions.
Nathan Davis
Supporting a lot of platforms is something that we on the team have a personal investment in (we all use different devices as our primary mode of gaming). We also want to get folks playing this thing as soon as we can. So we are balancing a lot of factors to determine what we are releasing on and when.

Tel Prydain
I'd be shocked if this didn't expand out to PC/Xbox/PS4. Shocked and annoyed. redneckdevil
I'd be shocked if this didn't expand out to PC/Xbox/PS4. Shocked and annoyed. I totally see it coming out on pc but sadly not the consoles even though I want them too. And the reason is patches. It's a lot easier but more importantly to patch pc games while consoles usually charge a huge amount for each patch. And since the card game just like the tabletop game constantly changes its rules, that would be patch after patch after patch. That would get very expensive very fast on consoles. LordStarlight
GoG and Mac OS X support would be nice for the screen real estate a game like this may need (and DRM-free!) I may try the iOS version though.
trashmyego
Going to be unhappy if this launches as an iOS only app. Well, more sickened than unhappy.
