Can't wait...can't wait...

I got a 360 just to play Deadly Premonition. I understand how you feel :)

I actually played it on the 360 the first time. After that I ordered the Japanese import version for the PS3(because I just had the 360 for a brief time)and played it until I had collected every single trophy :) I just love the game because of the same things grotbag mentioned. I was looking forward to this release as well, but I just watched 2 new gameplay footages and the character voices seem to have changed. York sounds like a 15 year old now! Damn it, why the hell would they do such a thing?!   :banghead:

Really? I just tried one of the videos and he sounds the same as ever to me. You think the pitch is higher than before?

You're right. I watched the videos on youtube right now and they sound okay. I think this Free Download Manager kind of messed up the sound of the gameplay videos I downloaded yesterday. Also, the interiors seem to have better textures and colors now.

That sounds interesting, a game about Vampires on the Eastern front in World War 2

Or it's probably just some Zombie DLC for Sniper Elite 2.

I think that's the teaser to a new Sniper Elite game. It doesn't have anything to do with the upcoming Sniper Elite V2 DLC.

Realms of Arkania trilogy to get a remake.

Not that I wouldn't love it but can't see it working given modern RPG standards.

Wow, thats interesting. I never played the original but I heard its a classic

If it plays like the original games, I will be highly interested in it.

If it's something new with everything being dumbed down, I don't even want to read about it.

I hear you, can you maybe read that link I posted and then translate. I just want the summary of what that German website is saying?

They may just be reporting the remake exists. The Dark Eye, which Realms is based on, is bigger than D&D in Germany. Realms was the state-side introduction of the ruleset and world; a relaunch would be noteworthy.

Yup, they only write that it exists, nothing more.

Oh yes. Totally worth 60 dollars/euros.

Please, tell me more how microtransactions are a good idea in a singleplayer game, and how not having video options is good for consumers.

My thoughts on how character powers and urgency could be implemented:

EA is just very very thorough when it comes to squeezing the last drop of profits out of a dead corpse.

In fact, so thorough that they squeeze profits from the space that contains the dead corpse

EA has been burning a lot of bridges with me over the past 2 years or so.

i'm actually at the point now where i flat out refuse to pay full price for any EA games for the next 2 years, to make up for paying full price for a handful of highly hyped, highly dissappointing games released in 2011 and 2012...

i have only 5 game purchases in the past 2 years that i really regret making, 4 of them were EA products

Eh, the pretty much any reason for not doing enhanced PC stuff is because, for whatever reason, it isn't deemed worth the investment.

Unfortunately it can be a vicious circle (e.g. NHL series on PC, which was constantly old gen instead of next gen, so fans stopped buying it, and EA ultimately said "not worth the effort to even make a port.")

I am still waiting for a PC port of Red Dead Redemption, though I know it will likely never see the light of day for the same reasons, unfortunately.

On the plus side, there's no shortage of PC games coming out.
