Morgoth Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Updated Orbis (PS4) specs: http://www.vgleaks.com/world-exclusive-orbis-unveiled/ Rain makes everything better.
C2B Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 And Junction Point bit the bullet as well. Wonder where Warren Spector is going next.
Katphood Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 (edited) Can't wait...can't wait... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtN8RNEqluo I got a 360 just to play Deadly Premonition. I understand how you feel I actually played it on the 360 the first time. After that I ordered the Japanese import version for the PS3(because I just had the 360 for a brief time)and played it until I had collected every single trophy I just love the game because of the same things grotbag mentioned. I was looking forward to this release as well, but I just watched 2 new gameplay footages and the character voices seem to have changed. York sounds like a 15 year old now! Damn it, why the hell would they do such a thing?! Really? I just tried one of the videos and he sounds the same as ever to me. You think the pitch is higher than before? You're right. I watched the videos on youtube right now and they sound okay. I think this Free Download Manager kind of messed up the sound of the gameplay videos I downloaded yesterday. Also, the interiors seem to have better textures and colors now. Edited January 29, 2013 by Astiaks There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.
Morgoth Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 New PC horror game from Rebellion coming soon 1 Rain makes everything better.
BruceVC Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 New PC horror game from Rebellion coming soon That sounds interesting, a game about Vampires on the Eastern front in World War 2 "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead" - Nelson Mandela
Morgoth Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Or it's probably just some Zombie DLC for Sniper Elite 2. Rain makes everything better.
pmp10 Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Realms of Arkania trilogy to get a remake. Not that I wouldn't love it but can't see it working given modern RPG standards.
Katphood Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Or it's probably just some Zombie DLC for Sniper Elite 2. I think that's the teaser to a new Sniper Elite game. It doesn't have anything to do with the upcoming Sniper Elite V2 DLC. There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.

Wow, thats interesting. I never played the original but I heard its a classic Here is a sceeenshot from this game http://www.pcgames.de/Das-schwarze-Auge-Die-Schicksalsklinge-PC-249135/News/Das-Schwarze-Auge-Schicksalsklinge-Neuauflage-der-Nordlandtrilogie-angekuendigt-1046051/ Edited January 29, 2013 by BruceVC "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. Lexx Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 If it plays like the original games, I will be highly interested in it. If it's something new with everything being dumbed down, I don't even want to read about it. 3 "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."

If it's something new with everything being dumbed down, I don't even want to read about it. I hear you, can you maybe read that link I posted and then translate. I just want the summary of what that German website is saying? "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. TSBasilisk Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 They may just be reporting the remake exists. The Dark Eye, which Realms is based on, is bigger than D&D in Germany. Realms was the state-side introduction of the ruleset and world; a relaunch would be noteworthy.
Lexx Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 (edited) Yup, they only write that it exists, nothing more. Edited January 29, 2013 by Lexx "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."

If it's something new with everything being dumbed down, I don't even want to read about it. +1 Im ok just some HD remake of old games. I especially like the third one. Also I smell another kickstarter here, brace yourselves! Nothing is true, everything is permited.

Morgoth Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 EA is just very very thorough when it comes to squeezing the last drop of profits out of a dead corpse. 1 Rain makes everything better.

entrerix Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 EA has been burning a lot of bridges with me over the past 2 years or so. i'm actually at the point now where i flat out refuse to pay full price for any EA games for the next 2 years, to make up for paying full price for a handful of highly hyped, highly dissappointing games released in 2011 and 2012... i have only 5 game purchases in the past 2 years that i really regret making, 4 of them were EA products Killing is kind of like playin' a basketball game. I am there. and the other player is there. and it's just the two of us. and I put the other player's body in my van. and I am the winner. - Nice Pete.
Lord of Lost Socks Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Yeah, my two links weren't really "news" as such. This is fun to read, though: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/121756-Massive-EVE-Online-Superbattle-Blocks-The-Stars One guy accidentally jumps to enemy space and suddenly 3000 players are battling it out. 1 My thoughts on how character powers and urgency could be implemented: http://forums.obsidi...nse-of-urgency/
alanschu Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Eh, the pretty much any reason for not doing enhanced PC stuff is because, for whatever reason, it isn't deemed worth the investment. Unfortunately it can be a vicious circle (e.g. NHL series on PC, which was constantly old gen instead of next gen, so fans stopped buying it, and EA ultimately said "not worth the effort to even make a port.") I am still waiting for a PC port of Red Dead Redemption, though I know it will likely never see the light of day for the same reasons, unfortunately. On the plus side, there's no shortage of PC games coming out.
