Morgoth Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Click London, Feb 17 (IANS) Apple founder and CEO Steve Jobs has terminal pancreatic cancer and may live for just six more weeks, a media report said Thursday. Rain makes everything better.
WDeranged Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Sad news for him and his family if it's true, though I do wonder if this is the result of a life spent bathing in various electromagnetic fields
Morgoth Posted February 17, 2011 Author Posted February 17, 2011 Those kind of devices Apple works on don't produce a EM field powerful enough to influence human physiology. Probably got cancer from drinking too much free soda. Rain makes everything better.

Walsingham Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I bet he's regretting spending his entire life trying to sell people crap they don't need now. Unusually bitter today... "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
WILL THE ALMIGHTY Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Sad, but some part of me hopes this means the end of overpriced Apple products that don't do anything particularly well. ... it really is a shame, though. The man isn't exactly evil. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"
Nightshape Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Never liked Steve Jobs, always thought it was a douche... That said, I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I came up with Crate 3.0 technology. Walsingham Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 I don't care how great you are, and I don't care what you're worth. When it all ends up, you got to go back to mother earth. Hurlshort Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Volourn just trolled Mother Earth, awesome
LadyCrimson Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 (edited) Enquirer or not, pancreatic cancer is no laughing matter. If he's undergoing more treatment he could definitely have lost a lot of weight etc. Whether he only has weeks to live remains to be seen...but I hope he beats it. I may not love iEverything but he seems an interesting man and I'd hate to see the world lose him. Then again, such is life. But this WSJ blog mentions that Obama met with Steve Jobs (and others) yesterday, so Jobs can't be quite on death's door yet. Interestingly, it was held in Woodside...if I'd known that I could have gone there and watched the limos from some distance street corner and probably be arrested by Secret Service men for being suspiciously stalker-like. Nightshape Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Volourn just trolled Mother Earth, awesome BAH! Volo's just whining. Nature > Volo. Death is awesome. Deal with it! Volourn Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 The fact that you felt the need to compare nature to me is enough proof to show how pathetic nature is and how awesome I am. I mean seriously.. you just were so deserpate to defend your precious nature to me. Nature... that 'entity' that exists for every to something (me) that will live 100 years top if I'm very lucky. L0L Thanks for the compliment, dude, thanks for the compliment. I hope MN doesn't feel slighted by your words. As for Jobs, don't know him, so don't feel anything other than 'it sucks' that nature has found yet another victim to torture. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Morgoth Posted February 18, 2011 Author Posted February 18, 2011 "Victim to torture" What a silly thing to say. If it wasn't for nature humanity as a civilization could never survive due to overpopulation. Rain makes everything better.
Volourn Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 I counter that with the fact that if it wans't for nature we wouldn't even have an 'overpopulation' problem iin the first place. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
