January 1, 201115 yr Pre-ordered Dragon Age II and Deus Ex special editions yesterday. Bit risky, who knows how they'll turn out, but at least there's some nifty soundtracks to sweeten the deal. I'm a sucker for that sort of guff.

All the world's publishers got together and said: "Let's not take any risks and only fund the same drivel year after year because gamers are idiots and will buy it anyway." Or something.... Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

January 4, 201115 yr I'm kinda looking forward to seeing what Bulletstorm will play like as well. People Can Fly really nailed the "kill everything in awesome ways, empower the player" type of shooter in Painkiller I think and I really hope Bulletstorm will be like that as well. The videos look fun but haven't really sold me on it, but then again I pretty much disliked the idea of Painkiller as well before I actually played it so we'll see. I also don't like that it seems to be more story-driven. Screw the story, cutscenes, companions and such. Just let me loose and let me wreak havoc damnit.
