By the way, there are some plot hooks in the game for possible sequels, and even prequels.

There is whole Senator Darcy angle (whose positions strengthens at the end of the game).

Also, both Westridge and Darcy had "Yellow Brick Road" operations of their own (as shown in Alpha Protocol dossier), so possible prequel/expansion could be based on them too. There are even some detail for Westridge (rivalry with ex-KGB Alexi Dravic, affair with "Saffron", etc...)

Apart for the refinements on graphics, combat and AI. I would add more non linear level and more exploration.

As well, more dialogue "levels", like the one with Marburg, but with more visible outcomes, for example, Mike pisses Hong Shi off, when Mike is investigating in one of those extended levels, he comes across to various members of the White Oak Mountains... or if Mike gets well with G22, in the middle of a battle, a couple of enemies down by a G22 sniper... so, the conversations are no "useless" and it does carry consequences.

I think all the conversations are useful, even the Gelateria guy, but say, you execute the bloke, obviously, you'll have some US special agents looking for you...

Seconded.

Also, an interesting idea would be to make dossier and intelligence even more deeply connected to the gameplay..

E.g. you buy an intelligence that gives you a false ID and a uniform for infiltrating a CIA outpost.. there you go, it's not a fighting mission anymore, but you have to play your cards right in dialogue and obviously if you end up being spotted, you won't have the protection of your armor.

Better animations. Look at Conviction. It's a pleasure to watch Sam effortlessly slide from cover to cover. Conviction had amazing combat, AP2 should have something similar.

More clothes and hairstyles. Why can't Mike wear a suit?

Better weapon models. A lot of weapons in the game looks unrealistic, especially some shotguns.

Ability to write emails, not just answer to them.

AI. Need I say more?

Sex scenes which don't make you roll your eyes. Look at the sex scene in Mass Effect 2 between Shepard and Miranda. It was nothing hardcore (we don't need that), it was tasteful but didn't make ME2 look like a Disney movie.

Graphics need an update.

High-calibre handguns.

Oh and... lootable guns.

Really.

You can even keep the 'two weapons at a time' system and just let us drop one for picking one but really, let us pick our enemies' gun.

Really Obsidian, if you ever manage to do a sequel to this game, do it.

Indeed, that would be a nice addition.

One thing missing, is the usual casino visit or a mission in a casino, of course with Mike wearing a tuxedo... o:)

Hey, gotta leave stuff for the sequel.

"-You're a dicey player Mr Thorton.

-Oh, you don't know how I roll.

-You crack horrible jokes Mr Thorton.

-Would you be happier if I cracked your safe?

*stare*"

And so forth with crappy casino jokes. o:)

That sounds Thorton 100% suave. Bad (and sometimes sexist) puns and jokes, and a tendency to be a smartass.

I found professional Thorton for now my favorite.. he still throws a couple of sarcastic remarks here and there, and yet they somehow fit the character, but when he's on mission he's perfectly concentrated on that.

Well.. except when he has to manipulate someone.

No wonder why the gelato guy falls under Mike's charms...

I don't think the suave jokes were bad, they were funny for the most part, as far as I'm concerned, but I have to say that my favorite playthrough was with the professional Thorton also. I don't know, it just felt really really good, the flow of the conversations was great, and you didn't have to listen to bunch of characters getting annoyed with you jokes. I still very much love the suave Throton, mind you. There is a nice amount of humor in the game overall, even if it is all serious business.

Also, the aggressive one isn't bad either. One time Surkov was so scared of me because of my past behaviors that he pointed the gun at me at the end of The Embassy mission. Needless to say, I disarmed him, shot him in the leg and then questioned him. Jack Bauer would we proud... :) And I only saw that scene on my 5th playthrough. Is this game great or what?

And as far as AP2 is concerned, one thing that they just *have* to implement is undercover approach. Shooting and stealth are fine, but why not give player the option of putting on a disguise and walking past enemy soldiers, at least for a couple of missions, if you played under the radar up to that point. Kinda like a reward for being covert.

Also, more espionage gadgets would be nice, of course.
