Australasia would give you guys a good run for your money.

Sure (mostly due to NZ though) - but given your laws on Games I'm afraid that we can't allow you to take control of anything!

Why would they've agreed to that? Israel is their Canaan.

It was actually not so far off at the time I was lead to believe. The Jews simply wanted a land of their own, but England and France wanted more influence in the area .. At least that's what we concluded in my history class after going over dozens of sources..

For some reason this made me laugh out loud. It's the founding Gand Moff of Hamas Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.

If the article posts truth, Isreali Jews used to be called Palestinians? Hmmm.. And 'Palestinians' wer ejust known as Arabs? Hmm..

Someone made a pretty good point on the news the other day. We provide Israel with billions of dollars in military aid every year, while they enjoy first class universal health care which we apparently think is a despicable misuse of public funding and a step toward tyranny. I don't know--it just seems funny to me.

I said it in the last thread and I'll say it again: Israel aggressive foreign policy is not sustainable and will end in an all out war with the Arab world (again). Ending the discrimination against non-Jews and the apartheid against Palestinians is a top priority if they want to last more than a decade.

Right... its all Israel's fault.

Well, this table shows the US have given $114 Billion to Isreal since its inception in 1949 thru 2008, so roughly 1/10 of the proposed TRILLION dollar cost of UHC over 10 years. Funny indeed.

So we can't afford it. Why, then, do we generously give money to a country that can?

Sure. Im just countering Aram's point of "if we can affort to give Isreal money, we can afford UHC" which obviously isnt the same case at all. Hell, we have 12 states with a higher population then all of Isreal. California alone has five times the population. Pointing to some tiny country and saying "if they can do it, we can do it" is just disingenuous.

My point was that if we can't afford UHC, it'd very odd to be throwing money at a population that enjoys more spending benefits than we do.

*cough* NZ my arse!

We're working on the gaming laws, don't worry!

Gfted: What's a UHC? If you say universal healthcare, you're gonna have to source that figure.

Also bear in mind that the average household income of an American citizen is higher than that of an Israeli citizen which means that despite our much higher population, the amount of wealth we should have to go around, per person, is not only equal but higher. The respective sizes of our populations is completely irrelevant.

Oh goodie. Another let's-bash-Israel thread, because we can never have enough of those and they always end on such a positive note!

I came up with Crate 3.0 technology.

Crate 4.0 - we shall just have to wait and see.

Apparently some of the photos published by Israel have been fake. The metadata on the pictures say at least one was taken in 2006.

Bear in mind that the camera thought that the date was 2006. What if the date was never set in it?

What pics are you referring to specifically?

Apparently, photomanip is still all the rage.

Reuters should seriously check their photographers' political agenda before giving them work. This isn't the first time either, remember what happened during the latest raid for Hezbollah in Lebanon?

Link? Source? Evidence? Dare I say... proof?

No real point bothering anyway, metadata doesn't prove anything apart from what time the camera "thinks" it is. And far more importantly, the supposed weapons are so utterly pathetic as proof of 'terrorist' intentions (omg a boat had an axe on it == terrorist is just... feeble, feeble feeble) that arguing about them or even caring about if they have been faked is pointless and a distraction.

Sorry, but it does matter as all the evidence is pointing to 'death by cop'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide_by_cop

"On occasion, members of this group assaulted Roman legionnaires or armed travelers with simple wooden clubs to provoke them into attacking and martyring them."

We're talking about people who hide under hospitals so when the Israels attack they are stuck in a position where if they don't fight terrorist leaders continue to plan against them and if they do they will be labelled as monsters by the fools at the UN and idiots who don't understand the situation. It would be like if the Nazis brought their women and children and lined them up on the beaches of Normandy while they aimed their MG42s down on the landing craft.
