Holy crap, they're actually doing Shogun 2?

This sounds really really really good. I can't believe I'm excited again after they screwed everyone up the butt with Medieval 2 and ETW, but there it is. Less factions, smaller map, less units, all that is great news and means they can concentrate on making the AI and core game better instead of slapping on every tom **** and harry.

Sounds like they're going a bit more 'fantastical' with hero units and so forth, that's fine with me as long as it's done well.

Company of heroes is going to become free. Basically you'll be free multiplayer where you have to unlock more powerful units (or you can just buy the game) and you get the original single player campaign all to yourself.

Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition!

Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.

I only played Drakensang's demo, but it seemed to me like the art direction was painfully bad, controls and graphics better than NWN2, and the combat system felt about as stale, without any info or tip inside the game to understand how it worked.

I also heard that the sequel is much better however.

The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

That's what I felt as well. Also, the writing is not very good and choices in quest resolution basically all come down to complete quest y/n? There are a lot of people who liked it, I'm just not seeing it.

Then again, some people actually liked Two Worlds as well, and that is the worst RPG I've ever played, so what do I know.

I'm, uhm, unsure. What the hell that .png means? :p

I think it's meant to convey an angry man shaking his fist and Virumor's desire for world domination.

Two Worlds was excellent!! You know NOTHING!!1!oneoneeleven

I second mrkreku's fury at your statement!

TOTAL WAR NEWZ!

It's shogun 2, but in order to compensate for the comparative size of japan to europe, they're setting it up so that you're running around as a bit of the merc

Also, I think the dude stabbing the map in that is from Takeda given the clan symbol in the backround.

Damn, was hoping for Rome II.

I wonder if they had planned this expansion all along, or made it to satisfy the crybabies that couldn't take an ending where the hero doesn't save the world.

Why is it called Flames of Vengeance?

At the end of Divinity II - Ego Draconis, the dragon knight was left in a bit of a pickle, causing quite a lot of commotion among players. In Divinity II - Flames of Vengeance, you get the opportunity to seek revenge against those that did you wrong, hence the name.

"Left in a bit of a pickle", har har.

I can't see it

I must say, even with my complaints about the art direction, this game is giving me a good vibe.

Well, except for the art direction and health regen. I'm pretty sure I'll hate that design decision in the final product.

But I'm much, much more positive than I thought I would be.

I'm keeping my eye on this, for sure.

I can give a few details: The protagonist is named Adam, who works for the Seraph Corporation

Trailer is fab. Won't stop the negative nancys from complaining though.

Yeah, caught that after the trailer went back up.

So far, liking Adam a lot better than J.C.

Well, maybe I'm not looking in the right forums, but there's been much less complaining than with e.g. Fallout 3, though.

And yeah, I've been one of the complainers too about this game, doesn't mean I'm not interested in it. :)

Yeah, seriously, going to pre-order this sucker and have it paid off well before release date.

I'm pretty sure regenerating health murdered the parents of half the posters on the official forums.

Speaking of the official forums, they allow magazine scans to be posted (only images, not text), so there are a few screenshots on display.
