Fahrenheit wasn't "unique".

Fixed.

My point was that Fahrenheit sucked because of its extraordinarily stupid story, not because of the gameplay.

I was very excited about Heavy Rain, even not having a PS3, until I watched a few vids. I'm getting the distinct impression it is just a movie with quick-time events.

There's hope that Heavy Rain bombs hard and David Cage finally makes real games again. I still wanna see an Omikron sequel.

I forget the story to Nomad Soul entirely. All I remember about it is that all the mini games except mele were terrible, and at some point you forget what it is you are supposed to do and lose interest. It was pretty good up untill that.

Na na  na na  na na  ...

greg358 from Darksouls 3 PVP is a CHEATER.

That is all.

Yeah, the controls and minigames were terrible. But the atmosphere and gameworld was pretty cool.

Wow, the texture work and animations are truly next-gen :shifty:

They should have just stuck with the cutscenes. The character model looks good, but everything else is straight out of 2004.

Uncharted 2 looks way better.

That video doesn't lend itself to discussing other aspects.

We don't know how good the other parts of the game will be.

It seems to me that if the plot isn't wasted away in the same fashion as Fahrenheit, and if the Simon says scetions aren't there at all, this could turn out to be a very interesting game, even if the core gameplay is as unsatisfactory as the bits shown in the videos seem to be.

I'd play this if it was on PC.

So did anyone else try the demo?

Can't say I like the controls together with mostly fixed camera. And QTE's.

Want to climb that slope? Cool, lets press and hold one, two, three buttons. Did you accidentaly release one button? Sorry, let's do this again from beginning! Fight sequence wasn't that great either.

Best part of the demo is probably spoilery full game trailer. And watching it rain.

Except Uncharted 2 was average at best.

GFX alone is nothing.

Sure, but it was a better game than Gears 2.

I came up with Crate 3.0 technology.

Crate 4.0 - we shall just have to wait and see.

Wag your joystick to towel off.

Idiocy.

PS: not to mention the toilet scene. Good thing they didn't have you pulling the joystick back to simulate constipation.

No. Both were average.

Fact.

Almost everything that has a 2 in the name is.

Haha, I really think David Cage has gone too far with it.

I hope this QTE nonsense never reaches popularity, otherwise Dave will just be more encouraged to make that style of "games".

The world doesn't work like that, Boo. There are plenty of sequels that improve on the original.

Not so many in the world of computer games IMO...

Or that depends on your definition of improve, I suppose.
