Nothing (except the budget) standing in the way to become deep. _{Also, painting some **** and dieing and leaving it up to the new generation to make sense of it isn't deep either.}

Well IMO, it's all up to the writers, and if the game decides to have little or no writing, it's up to whoever is leading the project.

Poetry is the the epitome of the philosophy of economy of words. Good poetry conveys the same thoughts and emotions of a well written short story in a few stanzas. That does not pertain to my question on how well did Torment sell however.

I'd have to agree with previous poster, collectively they are all art.

It does provoke thought, even if the thought it provokes is a now somewhat deservedly cynical attitude towards art and the "artists" that create it. It's actually kind of clever.

I forgot how hard FO2 is. I have been running around for months in game time (rest untill fully healed) and I don't even have a gun. Can't buy one because I have low barter skill, so I have been running around the world map to see if I could find one lying around.

 

I think the main quest eventually times out and my tribe dies of starvation, can't be long now.

Get to the den and buy a magnum and some ammo. If you do all the quests in Klamath and scrounge around enough, you should be able to pull together enough money.

I have, using a modern computer that wasn't patched up to fix the encounter rate, and with me zig-zagging across the wastes looking for an encounter I could score a gun from.

At any moment I am expecting Jack Thompson to bust in and yell out "OBJECTION!"

Does anyone have a pic of that fanart where Sand is yelling "Objection!" much to shock and amazement of everyone else? It was epic.

I can't remember, does addiction eventually go away. I'm down to 3 strength and it's seriously hampering my shooting.

 

Apparently you get a penalty for not having the required strength to fire a weapon, which I think is pretty stupid, but I'm not going to restart just because my strength is 4 rather than 5 or 6 which lets you use all small arms without penalty. Ligth addiction also gives you a bonus to perception which actually helps shooting.

 

Is there anyway to increase your ability scores, perks, books, special stuff ?

So, if you don't have the muscle to keep the gun steady, it shouldn't affect your aiming?

 

Addiction goes away, but it takes time. Kids, don't use drugs!

 

There's ways to improve your abilities, but I don't think they will suddenly make you the master of Fallout 2

It goes away eventually and there may be a doc that can cure it.

you mean using a character editor or without cheating? with cheating you can download and use the falche editors for both games and in the game there are things like armor implants and perk choices which raise your stats.
