Gorth Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Slightly off topic and yet not quite... A to the awesomeness that is c64 music, based on the theme music of Comic Bakery “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
Syraxis Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Legend of Heroes: Sora no Kiseki SC - "Shine of Eidos" Very nice piano melody.
Tel Aviv Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 How could I forget The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Last Day especially. The weirdest (and best!) Zelda game, I think.
Purkake Posted October 21, 2009 Author Posted October 21, 2009 The weirdest Zelda game, I think. You can say that again!

Purkake Posted October 21, 2009 Author Posted October 21, 2009 I guess a lobotomy could do the trick as well.
Raithe Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 There's always the main theme from Hitman 2 - or more Jesper Kyd goodness with the Apocalypse from Hitman:Blood Money... Or for that slightly more bounce to it Surfing Guitar from MGS 3.. And while people might slam the Star Wars games for having scores that are quite similar.. there are some that do stand out in the way of hitting a certain sense of mood and atmosphere.. Ruins of the Jedi Temple in Kotor2 or Vode An from Republic Commando suited the game down to the ground. "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."
Oner Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Vode An from Republic Commando suited the game down to the ground.Heh, I wanted to link this yesterday but forgot. Purkake Posted November 20, 2009 Author Posted November 20, 2009 Borderlands end credits theme: DJ Champion - No Heaven
Walsingham Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
WILL THE ALMIGHTY Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I find it hilarious that Hans Zimmer made the second Modern Warfare's OST and it's worse (by far, IMO) than the one by Harry Gregson Williams in CoD4. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"
Walsingham Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Spoiler filled but amazing "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
Purkake Posted November 20, 2009 Author Posted November 20, 2009 Spoiler filled but amazing The whole Homeworld soundtrack is amazing, but the theme really brings back some memories. Also, Yes made a for it. Without spoilers, to boot.
HoonDing Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 (edited) Kirill Pokrovsky >> Inon Zur DA's soundtrack is completely unremarkable. Edited November 20, 2009 by virumor The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Purkake Posted November 20, 2009 Author Posted November 20, 2009 (edited) The theme was pretty good IMO. The DD one was good as well. Edited November 20, 2009 by Purkake
Malcador Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Not the theme from Grim Fandango, but one of the better ones from the game's soundtrack - Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra
Musopticon? Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Too bad they didn't have the time to use Ben Houge's Libera Me composition in Homeworld 2. Otherwise that game's soundtrack is stellar. Yes, Adagio for strings sends chills down my spine and tickles my music bones. My freaking music BONES. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai. So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds
