(Ace Combat 4)

Although this... this is the best.

You know what, Ace Combat just has amazing music. I'll just link all the good ones.

AC5 - The Unsung War

AC6 - To All Things

AC6 - Liberation of Gracemeria

EDIT: TA's soundtrack is also amazing.

"Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.

Jesper Kyd is definitely my favourite game music composer. Just listen to this tune from Assassin's Creed 2:

I've even suggested his name for Piranha Bytes (for Risen 2), but I'm not sure they could afford him.

Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!

His "Welcome To Fyrestone" track from Borderlands was pretty cool as well. The fact that he did 2 tracks for the game made me like it roughly 40% more.

C'mon, the music to the Deus Ex HR trailer deserves to be mentioned on here now..

When is that game out ?

Early 2011.

And that NV theme was really weak. Inon Zur is a total miscast for a Fallout game.

Agreed, but the NV theme is leagues better than FO3's.

What was F3's theme, anyway ?

Missed my point. :*

Have they given any hint on what the theme for DX3 will be ? Discussions a while back seemed to lean towards something new and not a remix of the original one. Kind of funny how that worked out, Spector hated it, apparently.

Hated what? The original, the remix, or the new one?

The original, can't find a reference for it, but Spector disliked the theme that plays during the menu but at that point they were nearing release so they let it in. He changed his mind after hearing it (either that or saying he thinks it sucks would have been poor form).

Hearing the original Deus Ex music always puts me in the mood to read / play around with the old Shadowrun rpg...

"Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."

I can't find the stirring, bagpipe-tinged, Braveheart-esque music from one of the old Mechwarrior games for the PC, was it Mechwarrior 2? but it was awesome, would be great if anyone could find it.

I donno monte, that's the most epic I found, but you can check the guys postings as he seems to have the entire Mech2 soundtrack up.

Thanks Calax, but I must have the wrong game, the one I'm thinking about was isometric where you looked down on your units, it was more of a Mechwarrior RTS.

My bad. But the music was awesome, I must have bought it in 1997/1998.

Yeah, that'd be Mechcommander.
