Only exception I can think of is the top of my head is Wall-E. Yes I know this is not a feature film so the complaint is beside the point, but still. Hell Kitty Posted June 2, 2009 Share Posted June 2, 2009 I loved the original two, but after that, when the series went for a cartoonish look and featured voiceovers with modern American accents, it was kinda like seeing the movie version of a book, and the characters looked and sounded nothing like you imagined them. The graphics have been updated, new backgrounds and character models, but built on the old engine so other than graphics and updated sound and voice acting is the same game The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity. Both projects have been blessed by the holy hand of Ron Gilbert, and directed by Dave Grossman, also of Monkey Island fame. I can't wait to get my filthy hands on these new episodes. And Guybrush looks like a grunge singer with aids. And I would asume the reason why it isnt classic 2D is because that would require them to hire oldschool 2D animators, which are very rare and expensive. Not to say that proper 3D animation isnt ridicilously complex and hard, because it is.
