Starwars Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 I'm sure the Nameless One is celebrating right now, blowing out the candles on a cake somewhere in the middle of the Blood War. Sammael Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 (edited) The Ministry of Mortal Affairs approves. Unfortunately, the demonic Wizards of the Coast who hold the artifact known as "The License" likely will not. We must engage in an unholy crusade to wrestle the artifact from their grubby chaotic claws and take it to the Obsidian Temple of the Planes. Or something like that, anyway. I would easily spend $100 for a modern update of the game (change nothing). I would spend twice that if cut quests were put back and endgame areas (Ravel's Maze, Curst, Outlands, Baator, Carceri/Curst Gone, Fortress of Regrets) were redone with the same level of detail as Sigil. And this is one game where even the ruleset could remain as is - I don't need feats and prestige classes to enjoy Torment. Edited January 16, 2009 by Sammael There are no doors in Jefferson that are "special game locked" doors. There are no characters in that game that you can kill that will result in the game ending prematurely.

Monte Carlo Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I have a pristine copy, in 1990's shoe-box size packaging, only played once. Any offers? My astigmatism is worse now than it was in 1999, in no small part down to having to read all that tiny text. Cheers MC

I'll have to reinstall Torment now and try to get them all to work together with the high-resolution fix - the last time I tried something like that, the game wouldn't start... Starwars Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 My last playthrough was with the resolution/interface mods posted on the Codex (I ran it in 1280x1024) as well as the patches from Qwinn.
