Installing a Console game... It is the PCification of consoles! Next will be Mass Effect. Hopefully it will fix that annoying pop in texture problem. I haven't tried installing many games (and I only have room left for one at a time, but I haven't noticed too much difference in speed for any of them, but it sure is a hell of a lot quieter. Thats not a bug, its what the engine does instead of letting you look at a black screen that says "loading.." for those 1-2 seconds it takes to load the textures. And yes, since the 360 has much less memory and power than a normal PC, it will take much longer for the textures to load. hee-hee! Never noticed any popup in Gears, certainly nothing as horrendous as ME. Anyway, can't install since my disk is full and you still have to have the DVD in drive anyway.
