WILL THE ALMIGHTY
Penny Arcade definitly takes the cake because of this: The Perry Bible Fellowship is hilarious, too. Another Halo Comic Strip is also pretty nice. Cyanide and Happyness. Enough said. Add in some Roosterteeth and Ctrl-alt-del, even they're not funny at all and I have no idea why I keep reading them. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

Xard
Perry Bible Fellowship One of the best comics ever and definetly best webcomic in existence Order of the Stick If you love RPG's this is perfect. Great characters, great humour etc. My favourite though artfag in me gives props for PBF. How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. WILL THE ALMIGHTY
Oh, I forgot DM of the Rings. Unfortunatly, the series is over, but it's still really funny. "Alright, I've been thinking. theslug
I miss real Marvel comics http://www.byrnerobotics.com/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=16 Skeleton Nazi Man? Edit: Been a long long time fan of PBF. My favorite has got to be the story of a man with no ****. Edited June 1, 2008 by theslug There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.

I was wondering about that too... He stands out a lot because of his black suit. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Enoch
I've always been fond of Toothpaste for Dinner His recent stuff isn't fantastic, but there are some great laughs if you look through the archives from '04 or '05. (I think this has something to do with the author abandoning the crappy job/unemployment that inspired so much of his earlier work to become a professional cartoonist/t-shirt salesman.) Some highlights my spending the last 20 minutes clicking through the archive: Edited June 2, 2008 by Enoch

SteveThaiBinh
I'm sticking with Erfworld over next to OOTS, but they come out at a snail's pace now. It would be better if I just forgot about it for six months then went back. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." WILL THE ALMIGHTY
The lack of crap in this thead makes me happy. It's webcomics like these that prove the internet has some decent amount of talent in it. Also, a quick tour of the entire Explosm archive (about two days of content) can be hilarious. Tigranes
I'm sticking with Erfworld over next to OOTS, but they come out at a snail's pace now. It would be better if I just forgot about it for six months then went back. I'm a major fan of OOTS, it's one of my favourites - but so far I am very disappointed with Erfworld. The pacing is very amateur and puts you off, and the setting so far seems like a random smorgasboard of stuff - which makes the decision to replace 50% of strips with 'diaries' that explain the world and its combat rules very, very boring. I still read on though, since I keep checking back for OOTS. It's still in its early stages, to be fair. My favourites: Sinfest: Went through a bland Disney crap stage the last couple of months but Tatsuya seems back on track again, its range of memorable gimmicks are truly grand. Sam and Fuzzy: A weird story comic with humour, though not of the laugh out loud or outrageous kind. The art is simple but quite clever for B&W, once it gets past the early 'sketchy' periods. His storytelling is quite good. Order of the Stick, as mentioned above. The quintessential D&D comic, IMO. I also enjoyed DM of the Rings that someone mentioned, but the author's follow-up D&D comic has been nothing short of atrocious. Just really, really, really bad. Gunnerkrigg Court: Harry Potter, except less Disney and fantastic, with more pseudo-science, and unDisneyfied humour. I don't know. I really enjoy the art. Goblins: Uh... the other quintessential D&D comic? Told from the goblins' point of view. The early ones are pretty funny, but it's still good when it gets into 'serious story' later. I don't enjoy the lengthy gory fight scenes, but I'm someone who doesn't enjoy fight scenes in anything, be it Star Wars, martial arts anime or whatever. Snail's Updates though. Minus: Has to be seen to be believed. The Abominable Charles Christopher: Again, uh, take a look. It's peculiar. Lackadaisy: A beautiful comic (what do you call this kind of tone?), but updates something like once a month. Uh, animals in 1920's American gangster life? Sort of? Blarghagh
Most of my favourites have already been named (Sam and Fuzzy, Looking For Group, Gunnerkrigg Court, Goblins) but my absolute favourite is Instant Classic: Prologue. It's a pretty short read, numbering only a 100 pages. There are more stories by the creator, but this is the only one he's finished and I suspect the only one he will finish, although he has recently started a "return to form" comic which is much like this.
