Gorth Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Yeah Walsh I hear ya. I come from a pretty estranged family so the thought of even seeing any of these people ever again is pretty disheartening which is why I plan on moving to iceland or something so I can be a hermit and turn my back on the world and people altogether. The internet and wood land creatures will be my friends. The worlds first E-Druid “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
samm Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 sorry to hear about some stuff here, shryke, guard dog et al... I was working today for my regular job and one of two "side-projects". Additional to four hours of University. Now it's 1 AM and I should get something to eat and sleep a little before tomorrow... Today's like the world's revenge for enjoying the last weekend too much Citizen of a country with a racist, hypocritical majority
Shryke Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 today i shaved! the big bushy beard of doom has now been trimmed back and tidied up and looks moderately respectable when your mind works against you - fight back with substance abuse!
Guard Dog Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Wow, today was a HUGE day for me. I made an offer on some land in Tennessee the other day, today I found out my offer was accepted! I just signed all the paperwork with my mortgage broker this afternoon. And to top it all off I accepted a promotion at work. Thats right, no more RF channel planning, I am going to be the new Tower Structural Engineer and FAA Compliance Officer for the Southern Region. If I can just ride this luck a little longer and sell my house here in Florida quickly. Anyway, since the new job is a regional one there is no time pressure to move up to regional HQ. Things are definitely looking up! "While it is true you learn with age, the down side is what you often learn is what a damn fool you were before" Thomas Sowell

Epic 100 dog free for all battle where the weak are trampled and the strong get delicious steak dinner. There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.
Musopticon? Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 ^ Wait will GD reads that. Today I procastrinated. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Dark_Raven Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 Today I did stuff and things. Also waiting for my new computer to get built. Its almost done. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
WILL THE ALMIGHTY Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 (edited) Strating working on what we call "Projet Personnel" (That's french, BTW)... basically it's an artistic creation/essay/event you create/organise, along with a 4000 word text on your experience making it. If I get that done, I get a fancy piece of paper from the I.B.O. (International Baccalaureate Organization) along with the regular secondary studies diploma. I'm basically going to draw lots of caricatures on Quebec's political year... Hopefully I'll get enough inspiration for jokes. It's pointless, annoying, but it can be fun if you do something you want to do. In any case, screw the IBO and their ****ty program. In any case, I have a whole year to make it, so I'll be fine. Edited May 17, 2008 by WILL THE ALMIGHTY "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"
samm Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 Can't believe you listen to the Nephilim. I used to listen to them when I was barely more than a nipper! If you're in for some nostalgia: They're in London on July 12 and 13. Definitely worth seeing and hearing, and if they don't change their setlist* too much, you'll most probably recognize some songs: our setlist included Dawnrazor, Moonchild, Preacher Man and Last Exit for the Lost, to name the older songs I remember. Today, cleaning our flat was first priority. I also prepared my timetable for next semester, and it turns out looking quite like at school with the "blocks" in the morning and afternoon, except that the earliest days begin at 10 am Citizen of a country with a racist, hypocritical majority

Tigranes Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Friend came back from bachelorette party at midnight, realised she had to finish the translation job for her work by 8am the next day, and she's leaving for Korea the day after to get married. Because I was an idiot, I agreed to help 2000 words in 45 minutes, not too bad. Musopticon? Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 I can't understand vegemite. I hope I will never have to understand vegemite. I'm gorging on Swedish chocolate(grand) and plannin on writing about the inherent naivety of William Loman in the Death of a Salesman in a minute. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Humodour Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 If you don't smear Vegemite behind your ears when you're travelling around Australia, you leave yourself extremely vulnerable to dropbear attack.
Guest The Architect Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Actually if you do that in Australia you can kiss your ****in' ass goodbye. Don't listen to Krezack, East Australians make up 99.5% of the stupid people who inhabit our country.

Humodour Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 I'm hungover. What time is it? If it's the morning, that means you had a good night. If it's the afternoon, that means you had a really good night.
Krookie Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 It's 12:30 in the afternoon, but I just woke up so I guess it's the morning.
