A hasted bowman with all the arrows of detonation you can buy made short work of Sarevok's entire party. I'm playing BGtutu, though, so I don't know if those arrows are added in from BG2.

I am about to ding 63 with my human rogue in WoW,

I never understood how someone could get that high in WoW. I mean I really love the game, the world, the charm... but I always grow tired at lvl 15 or so, then I switch to another race, just to grow tired again. Because I'm so sick of this combat system. Clicking-waiting-missing just isn't fun, and I don't have the patience to kill pigs the whole day long. That's why I hope I'll find some true MMO love in Age of Conan. A visceral, fast, player-driven combat system should hopefully keep my motivation up for a bit longer.

I am still playing BG II, although I've added more mods and have started to work on some of my own - so far it seems the game is fairly easy to work with.

I'd play Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night, were I home. A friend just burned them and fanlations on a dvd for me and am more than curious. It's just that...well, I don't know how my gf would take it if started up an eroge on her computer. I mean, srsly.

It can be. I didn't have that much trouble with Direct Action, but High Treason kicked my butt on several occasions.

There was one mission that I remember giving me fits. Can't remember the setup for it, but you don't start with a base. You have to go in and clear a section of the map first. In the middle section is a group of bunkers that act like banks which are your only source of income in the map. There is a group of air fields in the top left hand corner that constantly send bombing runs at you. In the top right is a big base that likes to constantly send M1A1's after you before you get anything really set up.

Just started Assassin's Creed. Seems to be pretty good, and it's a good break from all those multiplayer based games.

I've been using yeepeekaye to great effect (fires off a strategic weap where ever your looking.)

RedLynx Trials 2. It's awesomely hard.

Bloodlines as a Brujah. Usually I like to fight with a melee weapon but using your fists with Potence is great.

I eventually managed to beat that mission without cheating. It's been some time since I played though, so I can't remember how.

Gave The Witcher another go. This game is such a strange experience to me. Such a beautifully crafted game, and you can tell that an enormous amount of work went into it. But it's partially destroyed for me by the crappy translations and the resulting disjointed conversations as well, it being an action-RPG I suppose. Combat gets old really fast for me in this game.

Still, I think I'll give the game another serious go once they do the enhanced edition thing with updated translations and voiceacting(?). All kudos in the world for updating the game like that, hopefully it will be able to grab my interest more then.

 

Playing a bit of San Andreas, this time on the PC. Never did get myself to finish it, so we'll see how it goes this time. GTA series are a lot of fun, but they are also masters at providing some of the worst missions ever in gaming. And in San Andreas, this is worsened by the sometimes huge distances you have to cover.
