Glad to hear it. :)

I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man

That remains to be seen.

^lol, bait much?

Anyway, any chance of getting perhaps screens, info, or a feature in the next few months?

The internet, love it, hate it, always full of information leaks :)

Reflecting on this thread, I realized that I don't know what a "tyte" is, nor how serious it will be.

Nice teasing :)

CONFIRMED

IT'S GOT CRATES!

Man, J.E obviously just got the crate-engine working, that's totally sweet,

Just remember what I'll do if this game's not sweet!

When will we be able to see some pictures of this sweet, super sweet game? :)

Clearly, he has hit on the right algorithm for voulge-to-crate damage ratios.

Alas, we're going to have to give him a formal warning for spamming. The warning will be dangling from your chandelabra tonight, Mr Sawyer.

But doesn't the "+" after his name mean that he is also a moderator? :)

tyte.

There are doors

To be honest Obsidian's games aren't exactly the most stable when it comes to bugs. KotOR2 and NWN2 were very bug ridden games. Storylines were good to great but I shouldn't have to fight with the game itself just to play it. NWN2 has gotten better but by the time some of the later patches and the expansion got released I was into other games. I just hope this "tyte"ness means they got a stable code-base so that we can actually spend more time playing the game then trying to get the game running.

I never know with Sand whether to tell him to calm down, or wake up.

tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.

Don't get your hopes up. This game will surely be crawling with bugs, if you know what I mean. :ermm:

But this will be one of their first games working with an in-house, self-made technology, won't it? This could mean that they'll be more familiar with the inner workings of the engine,

resulting in fewer not-so-great bugs that previous titles has been plagued with. Of course, it could also just be the case that I'm just a horrible optimist, with no real clue of how programming works.

I do hope this yet-to-be-named Aliens RPG will have less bugs at release than their previous titles. Though their support of NWN 2 has been, and still is, exemplary, many gamers on forums I frequent pass up on

KotOR 2 and NWN 2 due to Obsidian's games not having the best reputation when it comes to bugs.

I can imagine it now, a regular day at Obsidian Entertainment...

Feargus Urquhart: "All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the corps! A day at Obsidian is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade!

I LOVE Obsidian!"

Avellone: "Hey Sawyer, have you ever been mistaken for a man?"

Sawyer: "No. Have you?"

The bug reports start filing in, pages up and down with bugs to squash, and the programmers, fully dressed up as Marines, start jumping for cover amongst the cubicles.

- "They're coming outta the walls! They're coming outta the goddamn walls!"

- "Game over, man! Game over!"
