Meshugger
Planescape: Torment? or was it Deus Ex? or System Shock 2? It's very hard to decide on which is THE best game. legion
Monkey Island. I grew up playing all sorts of graphic adventures (hell, text adventures too), and the MI series is still my favourite, in all their non-talkie glory. They didn't need any fancy pants voice acting to be great!
Guard Dog
Torment and the BG series. I've never played another game that consumed all of my attention they way they did. Lately I spend more time with Rome TW and it's expansions than any other title. Guard Dog
It's a funny thing about BG, we know every line of every text, trigger, cutscene, etc. There is nothing we have not seen or done, and yet it never gets old almost 10 years later. Mods help keep it fresh too. Dark_Raven
Its sad I can quote npcs and others in the games. Quote their soundsets, the games leave a lasting mark on you. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.

Kools
TIE Fighter Aces Over Europe Medieval: Total War I got bored with the Baldur's Gate series about halfway through each. I made the mistake of playing Fallout 2 before Fallout, and thus never finished - and barely even started, really - the original. A mistake I repeated with the KotOR series. Musopticon?
Uh, a hard question. If we can answer in plural(and even if we can't lolz), then it's likely: The Longest Journey Thief 2 Rome: Total War kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. Tale
I need to go ahead and add The Longest Journey to my list, too. (hi-five, Mus?) I might also put PS:T on there, but have only played through it once. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater." Musopticon?
(hi-fivez) To be honest, I don't really know if it's fair to leave out Mafia, PS:T, IWD2, Thief 1 and Undying, but TLJ, T2 and Rome are the ones I go back to play again and again, even if it's just for more mods. Those games have had incredible longevity for me, through mods or through plain story-galore. I hate leave the list like that, but no other games have just lasted with me for so long. Pidesco
I'd say System Shock 2. If I could pick a game to completely forget about, and experience all over again as if it was the first time, it would be SS2.
