the people actually inside the industry don't know anything, we're all a bunch of tards that sit round all day spunking up the wall and talking about porn, while fawning over the single female in the office. Occasionally we introduce a new bug, or make some bad art. :ermm:

I totally knew it! Sounds like my dream job! o:)

It's hard working being socially retarded but someone has to do it.

I came up with Crate 3.0 technology.

Crate 4.0 - we shall just have to wait and see.

I'll be waiting for that, then. I am not a fan of consoles.

EDIT: This is a reply to the first of that double post up there.

i own an xbox specifically for this type of thing. some good games are either console only, or are console exclusive for months and months. i generally prefer pc, but im no snob (not calling anyone here a snob - but a lot of people who play my preferred system are snobs about it)

Killing is kind of like playin' a basketball game. I am there. and the other player is there. and it's just the two of us. and I put the other player's body in my van. and I am the winner. - Nice Pete.

I haven't touched a console since Intellivision 2.

I played my first computer game in 1977.

If there is a pc mnaster race, I'm part of the elite old guard.

Feels good.

Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

How does it feel to be a part of a dying breed?

"Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

It clearly feels good to be one of the last of this grand PC master race.

But it has to be awful seeing that you don't have much time before it completely dies out.

I've played the demo. I think i'll wait for reviews and get it next year perhaps. I will play it but it's just not on my have to get it when its released list anymore.

1.13 killed off Ja2.

PC gaming has been dying since 1995 or so. I think I'll cling to this "dying breed" for the next 15 years too.

Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!

im sure that when duke nukem forever gets released that all gaming will die.

because that day will be judgment day.

and we shall be judged GUILTY

The old saying was "DNF will be released a day before apocalypse, and STALKER the preceding Saturday".

STALKER has been out for a while, so maybe we'll get to play DNF on our deathbeds.

Isn't the usually the case, though?

Nope, it's usually the whole game

Seriously though Tim Schafer deserves to make a profit from at least one of his games, I think despite the piracy this one will do it for him.
