I run from feminists.

 

And Scientologists. There is a big church of scientology in San Francisco and everytime I walk by the building they're always trying to cajole me into taking personality tests or ask if I know about dianetics. I always answer that I'd rather not part with my money and hurry off before they can swarm me.

 

Mormons I've met are actually pretty nice. I have a mormon colleague who is obsessed with 80s TV shows, especially Airwolf. He would sometimes just blurt out, "Stringfellow Hawk!' and laugh madly to himself. It was the combination of that name plus the way he said it that always made me crack up with him.

 

Uhh....yeah but radical feminists are scary just like any other group that thinks in one extreme or another.

Riiiiight, because an adolescent's hormonal curiosity is concrete evidence that he'll grow up to be a rapist. Still, this "womyn" is so sure of that correlation that she's wishing she had an abortion? You know, I wonder what her two other sons are like. They're probably embarrassed, ostracized or both.

 

This reminds me of that Family Guy bit when a young woman is at her university's freshman orientation:

 

"Ladies, look at the men sitting on either side of you. Statistics show one of these men will rape you."

 

I'm with Azure on the fact that Mormons can be cool. There was a Mormon at one of the bachelor parties I went to this summer. He drank Coke all weekend and he took a walk during the "entertainment," but he was a cool guy, nonetheless. I guess he was pretty progressive though... some Mormons won't even drink Coke because of the caffeine.

Good idea. If anyone from **** Obsidian is reading this then May I suggest a name change? Why not use it in all game names. This alone would surely guarantee commercial success!

 

I too find radical feminism mental. HOw could one not? But at the same time I don't find it as daft as, say, animal extremism. Women really HAVE been denied the same rights and freedoms as men in human history. More importantly there is a lot of persecution and violence against women all over the developing world. In parts of Africa and Asia rape is not even seen as rape by many men. But these salon radicals don't do anything about that, oh no. They think they've got cojones if they swagger about Brighton beach and be terse at ice-cream salesmen.

 

I also draw the line at ANY doctrine that tells me someone is better than I am by an accident of birth.

There are plenty of places in the 'third world' where women have no more rights than they did a couple of hundred years back in the west. Go pick a fight where it's needed.

Well, there's no doubt about high risk of getting issues. I hope those sons just somehow can survive through years they live with their crazy mother, but somehow I doubt so. After all, their father used to beat them. What else there was left for them than their own momma? No one. And under such conditions mother's power and influence is huge.

 

I don't know about other two (are they just acting for their mother or are they already be twisted by their mother) but I say "Brandon" is rebelling against his mother and her views. There's nothing weird in teenagers watching porn, but doind so everytime when he gets the chance is mark of rebellion, not ****ed up mind.

I have little to say about this without becoming offensive. Though I am curious as if this is a response to her suffered abuse, if the abuse was simply percieved and not physical, or if she was like this before and physical abuse did nothing but further solidify it.

 

 

If she's like 99% of her radical peers, she was just an insecure chick who got together with a douchebag, and was subsequently caught by radical feminists when seeking comfort after leaving said douchebag and pumped full fo propaganda. In Sweden we had alot of fuss concerning womens helpcenters set up by an organisation who later was revealed to be run by radicalist feminists. The help centers were really recruitments grounds and a means by which to spread their propaganda while pretending to help abused women. These people gather up vulnerable and gullible people(women in this case) to fill their ranks, same methods used by neo-nazis and religious cults.

 

 

It's just taken much less seriously when it involves feminists.

Well Caffeine is not the issue with Mormons or within the Word of Wisdom.

 

 

For example, with Coffee, it is the other chemicals within coffees is Why Mormons are not recommded to drink coffee or Hard/strong drinks.

 

No alcholol and modertation in diet.
