Krookie Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 He's pretty good, I guess. Kane is also playing well, he leads his team in scoring, doesn't he?
Kor Qel Droma Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
mkreku Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Thank you Leafs for letting in five goals in the last period. I was almost getting a little hope there after the second period ended, but you quelled that feeling ruthlessly. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Deraldin Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 So much for the "red-hot" Bruins. 6-1 pounding from my Canadians tonight, who were admittedly outshot 3-2, but they made their shots count. The lone Boston goal came on a power play.
alanschu Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Well, the return of the Mullet! Always the Oilers fan, but the defense is getting pretty beat up. Just play hard boys!
Deraldin Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 (edited) So hows it going Mkreku? You hanging in there? The Oilers game is really confusing when you aren't actively watching. "Go Smyth! No wait... he's not on the Oilers anymore..." Edited October 24, 2007 by Deraldin
alanschu Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 I only saw the second and third period, but it looked like the Oilers played well. Hopefully they can keep it up and build off of this game.
Volourn Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Stupid Rangers can't score! Urghhhh!!! DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Deraldin Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 I only saw the second and third period, but it looked like the Oilers played well. Hopefully they can keep it up and build off of this game. I only actively watched the last ten minutes of the game, but most of that was in the Av's end. Also heard one of the announcers say something about the shots being 30-20 or so for the Oilers.

Kor Qel Droma Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 I'm wishing I would have picked Mats Sundin in both of my hockey pools. I don't like the Leafs, but I'm glad that Sundin and Blake are doing well. And what's up with Nash and Peca in Columbus? I watched the Jackets shut down Buffalo the other day and had to say they looked pretty impressive. For Columbus. The Oilers are scaring me so far this season. Most of our production is coming from the kids in the system. Nearly all of our established vets are underperforming or injured. In nine games this season, one powerplay goal has been scored. We haven't won against a division rival yet either. But there are bright spots as well. A few of the rookies who survived Edmontons' wacky minor league non-system are starting to blossom. This Sam Gagner kid is playing real well at the NHL level for an 18 year old. He's even showing more grit than Ales Hemsky right now. Personally I thought the kids wouldn't fare too well under MacTavish and ever changing line combinations, but they're really leading the way. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.

Hurlshort Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adtZVjVP1uE Oh how I wish it was so.. It's totally true. Mats Sundin faces off alone against entire NHL squads every night. Sure, he dies in the end, but it's impressive along the way.
Deraldin Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Wow. The Flames won tonight. I thought for sure they were going to lose when I saw them down 3-0 in the second, but they managed to score 5 unanswered goals!
Deraldin Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Tlusty had a good first game. Scored two goals 35 seconds apart tonight for the Leafs. Also, Hasek is now out indefinitely with a sore hip. Anyone taking bets on how well the Red Wings will do without him?
Volourn Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 RANGERS SCORE! RANGERS SCORE! RANGERS SCORE! DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Deraldin Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 RANGERS SCORE! RANGERS SCORE! RANGERS SCORE! Finally!
Kor Qel Droma Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 (edited) Oh man, the Edmonton/Minnesota tilt was absolutely...Wild? Does two goals in regulation and the shootout winner earn the phrase 'Hemsky Hat Trick' tonight? Hells ya! edit: Edited October 26, 2007 by Kor Qel Droma Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
mkreku Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 OH GOD DID WE NEED THAT WIN!! The amateur scouts at the hf boards have been mentioning this Tlusty kid for over a year now, I think. If only our THICK-HEADED coach would let all the guys that are young and hot play instead of the overpaid pieces of **** we currently have, I think we'd see much more exciting hockey from the Leafs. mkreku Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Oh, and I forgot to mention.. Why do people insist on fighting Chara? Not only is he big and skilled.. he seems to have a sledgehammer in his right fist. Of course, both Chara and Koci were sent off and I know who benefited from that trade.. Deraldin Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Oh man, the Edmonton/Minnesota tilt was absolutely...Wild? Does two goals in regulation and the shootout winner earn the phrase 'Hemsky Hat Trick' tonight? Hells ya! That shootout goal was priceless. He deked himself, lost the puck and it slid through the five hole anyway.
Kor Qel Droma Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Since Hemsky has been in the dictionary so far this season under 'snakebit' I think he'll take anything that goes in the net right now. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Deraldin Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 I hate living in Leafs territory. I get to watch the Leafs play against New York tomorrow while Montreal plays against Pittsburgh.
