I've watched disks one through five of my Cowboy Bebop DVDs in my free time. I'm a little hesitant to watch the last disk, however, since the final episode just depresses the hell out of me.

I was under the impression that the Socttish character is not fictional, though it is an amalgam.

You could make an argument, but it would be badly reaching imo

What, so nobody watched any movies the last two days? OK I didn't either, but I made up for it tonight by watching SpiderMan 2.1 with the eight minutes of extra footage. The extended fight scenes were good, and there's a decent scene of

JJ in Spideys outfit jumping on his disk pretending to shoot webs

that's pretty funny.

Saw Hot Fuzz. I seriously nearly blacked out laughing. It started out entertaining, then bam, killer is revealed and the whole thing ascends to comedy godhood.

Hot Fuzz.

I love British humour. Jokes pervade this movie, and it ends with an action/gunfight scene that takes tips from the best (including a car chase). The only downside of this movie is that it's occasionally crass, but that's only a downside for me because I'm a Christian. Others shouldn't have a problem with it. It's not an amazing movie, but it is good fun.

Saw it Friday. Absolutely loved it.

Ping Pong, a japanese movie about two high school students and ping pong. Great movie, they made ping pong look as cool as kung-fu.

I'm going to watch the directors cut of Payback later today. I loved the theatrical cut but apparently Mel Gibson thought the original was way too dark and had the director fired and reshot most of the end. So I'm looking forward to seeing this one.

Really? Wow...it was pretty dark as is. Maybe he had a point.

Tommy's always fun tho.

Just finished aachi & ssipak, and man it's probably the weirdest movie i've ever seen.

have you seen Mind Game or Oldboy? Both asian movies, oldboy is absolutely amazing, mind game is pretty damn weird but decent.

There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.

Of course, it's the sequel! That's the point of most sequels.

It doesn't feel like a sequel without Mr. Ford. More like ... a spin-off ... :-

Peter Cushing as Holmes. Pure genius!

The movie as a whole, however, was only mediocore, even allowing for its age.
