Hurlshort
Lionheart. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Uh...you finished that game? Quest for Glory II was tough because it was a cliffhanger, and then IV took forever to come out. Both KotOR 2 and Bloodlines sent me running to the message boards because the ending seemed incomplete. I felt much better about KotOR 2 after reading all the cut stuff. To be honest, I don't finish a ton of games. I can't recall finishing any Final Fantasies. My favorites are probably Fallout and Dues Ex.

Hurlshort
Dreamweb. <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you saying it was good or bad? I can see it both ways, really. I was pretty shocked at the ending, but after a couple days I came to appreciate the non-standard ending. I almost wish Indigo Prophecy had been as bold. Oh, Command and Conquer rocked with the ending! Hmm, all my favorite endings seem to involve a large explosion. Monkey Island II had a horrible ending. They tried to backtrack in the later games, but it completely destroyed the atmosphere of the game for me.
Tel Aviv
It was bold. But I didn't like the implementation.

You are a stronger man than I. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I bought it so I forced myself to end it. Ending sucked and so did the last battle. Darque
Indigo Prophecy's ending sucked. NWN2's gets a bad mark due to that narrator. Those are the only two I can think of.

Sargallath Abraxium
...honestly, once fixed wit' the right mods (Ascension, Redemption, etc.), I didna mind the endin' o' ToB; was actually the only part o' her I didna mind, though...still canna touch Planescape: Torment, but 'twas a start... ...WHO LUVS YA, BABY!!... A long, long time ago, but I can still remember, How the Trolling used to make me smile. And I knew if I had my chance, I could egg on a few Trolls to "dance", And maybe we'd be happy for a while. But then Krackhead left and so did Klown; Volo and Turnip were banned, Mystake got run out o' town. Bad news on the Front Page, BIOweenia said goodbye in a heated rage. I can't remember if I cried When I heard that TORN was recently fried, But sadness touched me deep inside, The day...Black Isle died. Musopticon?
Rune's ending chapter, anyone who has played this and remembers the aftermath of meeting Loki knows why. The actual ending was cool too, since you had a choice. That's rare in action games. Edited January 9, 2007 by Musopticon? kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. kumquatq3
Prolly not the best ending I could think of, but "Starcraft: Brood War" ended well. K2 is currently the worst ending I've seen in a game. I always thought the ending to "Ocarina of Time" kinda sucked too.

Zoma
Chrono Trigger has good ending(s). Chrono Cross has an exceptionally overly vague ending which I see it as a terribly bad ending like KOTOR2.
Hurlshort
I didn't think KotOR II was terrible because at least you could find information on what really happened. It was incomplete, but at least the ending existed somewhere, and I liked it once I read it online.

213374U
On the other hand, handing Kyle his ass in JA was just one of those moments, only surpassed by the sequence where Jaden impales Rosh. We need more SW games that allow the option to murder the main whiner. - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast. I don't remember what the dark side ending for JKII was, so it must not have been good enough to make an impression. And somehow I skipped from Dark Forces to Jedi Knight II in my Star Wars gaming and missed the first Jedi Knight. baby, take off your beret everyone's a critic and most people are DJs
