January 8, 200719 yr Lionheart. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Uh...you finished that game? Quest for Glory II was tough because it was a cliffhanger, and then IV took forever to come out. Both KotOR 2 and Bloodlines sent me running to the message boards because the ending seemed incomplete. I felt much better about KotOR 2 after reading all the cut stuff. To be honest, I don't finish a ton of games. I can't recall finishing any Final Fantasies. My favorites are probably Fallout and Dues Ex.

I was pretty shocked at the ending, but after a couple days I came to appreciate the non-standard ending. I almost wish Indigo Prophecy had been as bold. Oh, Command and Conquer rocked with the ending! Hmm, all my favorite endings seem to involve a large explosion. Monkey Island II had a horrible ending. They tried to backtrack in the later games, but it completely destroyed the atmosphere of the game for me.

January 9, 200719 yr Prolly not the best ending I could think of, but "Starcraft: Brood War" ended well. K2 is currently the worst ending I've seen in a game. I always thought the ending to "Ocarina of Time" kinda sucked too.

January 9, 200719 yr Chrono Trigger has good ending(s). Chrono Cross has an exceptionally overly vague ending which I see it as a terribly bad ending like KOTOR2.
January 9, 200719 yr I didn't think KotOR II was terrible because at least you could find information on what really happened. It was incomplete, but at least the ending existed somewhere, and I liked it once I read it online.

I was referring to the original Jedi Knight (Dark Forces 2), where Kyle becomes all evil with Sariss at his side.

I don't remember what the dark side ending for JKII was, so it must not have been good enough to make an impression.
