Krookie
I think someone said it was just a concept video, for what the 360 could do with Star Wars.
Tale
It's just a concept video. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
thepixiesrock
Yeah, plus that isn't like, gameplay footage. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. legion
I remember seeing that footage a while back and thinking, "damn, that looks awesome. I'd totally buy that." And watching the clip again, I can't help but think, "damn, that looks awesome. I'd totally buy that." Which begs the question, why the hell is this wasting away as some cool looking mock-up concept reel and not being turned into an actual game already? Don't they want my money? And who the hell are they anyway!?
thepixiesrock
Personally, I'm not really that impressed, because it just looks like cutscene footage, and not actual gameplay. I mean, couldn't they already have cutscenes that nice with the previous generation? Krookie
Maybe it's so good it looks like a cutscene. But it's really gameplay.

Zachech
we all know that a star wars game like that is going to have to come out eventually for the next gen consoles anyway, so just wait a little longer. personally, i'm waiting for a wii jedi game . . . really want to bash the hell out of enemies with my remote. Krookie
You'd need to remotes. One to use your lightsaber and another to use the Force. The nun-chuck thing wouldn't work because the two are connected to each other.
Sturm
really want to bash the hell out of enemies with my remote. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You dont need a Jedi game to do that, just go down town, and see what sort of reception you would get EDIT: Or a WII Edited January 2, 2007 by Sturm
Tale
Maybe it's so good it looks like a cutscene. But it's really gameplay. Or maybe it's a pre-vis. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."

Tale
I don't know what pre-vis means. Previsualization. In context, not entirely sure. Says to me that this is a visualization of what they'd like to do, or be able to do, before they do it. Kind of like another way of saying a concept video. More info: http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/721/721178p1.html "The video is a pre-rendered pre-visualization of what we're targeting in terms of gameplay, the degree of interaction with the environment, and character reactions." 213374U
It's a pre-render, so it's pretty much animated concept art... I'm not shelling out $500 (400? whatever) just to play one game. *unless it does feature an awesome co-op mode, that is... - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.
