Wow, that's some replay value.

Too bad my 1st cd is scratched to oblivion.

Yarr.

And RP - If you get the Astrolite without killing anybody, Mercurio will recover and then go out and kill them instead - he tells you this when he drops in on you on your way to the Elizabeth Dane.

Also, how would one change their character's skin into that on a NPC's?

If Darque was around she could tell you. She's done it before.

I'm surprised she hasn't posted yet...

I like the 'extract the heart' song. WMP has never given me problems before, and I'm not certain it's WMPs fault, as I listened to the songs before I entered any of the clubs.

Yes, I mangled the English language.

Curious. Not sure if many know about this but...

There have been multiple releases of fan patches which I've always detested since they masquerade (eh) themselves as patches but aside fixing some bugs also add unbalancing gameplay modification. I've never used these despite the bigfixes they propose to introduce in the game.

However, today I was browsing around and noticed this (weird) site run by a Tessmage, after following a profile link in a VtmB forum. She dabbles in some game modifications (including nude skins for various games, Bloodlines included) but also seems to have worked on the kind of thing that should have been brought up more times - a real "Bug-Fixes-Only" patch for Bloodlines. The current patch is 4.02AT, and you can find more info here:

If you've been using the previous "beta" version (4.01AT), then I strongly suggest downloading the latest version of our patch and installing it. Several additional bugs were found, not only in the original game, but also within Wesp's so-called "unofficial patches" (mods). Those bugs have been removed and also, some additional content has been restored/fixed as well. Just as with the previous True VTMB Patch, nothing is included that was not originally intended to be in the game by Troika, nor is anything missing. The True VTMB Patch has been a project with only one goal in mind: to restore Bloodlines to being the game that Troika wanted it to be -- minus the bugs and glitches.

The current patch weighs in at 160 MBs, approximately. Anyone care to give it a go?

I finished downloading it and when I read the FAQ, it doesn't talk about bug fixes at all. It just talks about the changes made in some other patch and how this one 'restores' the original content.

This 'patch' is worthless. None of the bugs I've experienced have been fixed and people can see you through Obfuscate. I can be standing still, and security gaurds will spot and attack me.

Did Amentep just crawled out of his grave to talk about breasts?

No, it just seemed that way. :brows:

I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man

There is a file called "clandoc.txt" that has all of the paths for character models in it. If you've installed any of the patches I believe the file should be openly editable in the Bloodlines directory without having to extract it.

There's a tool called VampEd that can allow you to easily check the path for the model you want to use.

Its then a matter of editing the PC Character models to be the ones you want.

For example if you want your Tremere to look like VV, you'd edit the Tremere models (for all 4 armor levels) to

models/character/npc/unique/downtown/vv/vv.mdl

Darque's initial posting about this can be found here

Glad it worked. I had a lot of fun playing around with the models. :D
