Started weak and has improved with every episode.

That's what I thought of it too...by the end it became my favorite show of the year.

Still gaming with my 9900k/2080ti/32 ram. One day I suppose a game may inspire me to finally upgrade. Maybe.

Michael Apted directed the first 3 shows and only the first 3, maybe that explains it. It's all his fault :D

I've picked it up and I'm gonna see it sometime tommorw.. I loved Richard Linklater's work with Waking Life - so I'm looking forward to this one..

Kingdom of Heaven

Turned out better than I thought, and reminded me much of my experiences in Age of Kings (Age of Empires 2). Plus those siege towers were exactly like the ones in NWN2, though I didn't get the option of pulling them over on their sides.

Derailed (2005) - Predictable thriller. With many twists and turns, that most people will see a mile away. That being said, for some reason I liked it. If you have 2 hours to kill you could do worse.

BTW as good as Daniel Craig was Casino Royale, Clive Owen would have been perfect for the role. Too bad he refused it.

That is my alltime favourite history basher. For the first time, Bloom is not just a Legolas with dark hair and human ears. He's the one that really makes the movie shine, althoug there's the bad part here and there. Oh, and the movie also has one of the most beautiful Hollywood actresses ever.

I finally saw Leone's The good, the bad and the ugly for the first time. And I can safely say that it's one of the first movies that really deserves all the praise it's hailed with. I started wathcing it, expecting to be bored to tears, but the characters, the looks and, surpisingly enough, the sounds really carried the movie through. I'll definetly watch it again.

It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai.

So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds

Yes, it was the ecstasy of gold. :D

Donnie Darko. I would give it 4 stars.

The best time travel movie ever is still Primer.

Eragon.

Better than expected. Can be summed up with three words: Lack of Experience.

The editing for example is severely lacking in the first half, with no scene transitions and some dialogue that can be heard but not seen... when the camera is pointed at the speaking character.

The Third Man (1949) - Exceptional film. Post war Vienna almost is a character in and of itself. Zither music of Anton Karas is another highlight. The sewer action sequence is first rate, one of the best I have ever seen. Cinematography and direction are excellent.

I'd always thought Orson Wells directed The Third Man..

I just saw Clerks II, i loved it. And my girlfriend rented The Devil Wears Prada, and You Me And Dupree. They were entertaining.

I've warmed up to Clerks 2 since I watched it last week. I find myself reciting certain lines after watching it once, and that means it was a good movie.

I watched Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby last night. It was decent, a few laughs here and there. I was shocked that Ali G aka Sascha Baron Cohen aka Borat was the villian. Surprisingly, I thought the funniest guy was the one from Boogie Nights, John C. Reilly. Will Farrell got a bit hard to watch after awhile. I think he's better as a support actor.

I caught the last hour of Wimbledon last night. I didn't think too much of it. Then I watched John Tucker Must Die. If I was ten, no fifteen years younger I think it might have been a fair bit funnier.

El Laberinto del Fauno (Pan's Labyrinth) - an absolute classic

Lola Rennt (Run Lola Run) - smokin' Franka Potente narrates, sings and runs & smokes and runs & rawks & smokes some more

Tristram Shandy - it's neither Stoppard nor Sterne but it's passably clever

In the Bathtub of the World - dysfunction according to Caveh Zahedi. Oy.

Junebug - disassociation as theme and experience

Zardoz - Ridiculous, cheesy & overlong. In other words, it's a '70s scifi classic.

P.S. Zardoz stars a young and freckled Sara Kestelman (the voice of Kreia in KotOR2) in all her naked glory. It also features a mind-bendingly gorgeous Charlotte Rampling (one of the most beautiful women who ever lived), but these beauties pale next to the blinding sun of Sean Connery's dayglo underwear. Connery as a pistol-packin' neanderthal assassin prancin' around in in a bright orange thong? God, what's not to like?

what are you talking about "Zardoz" is a great film...

If I was ten years younger, of the opposite sex and boasted an IQ of 75, only then would that movie be funnier.

I watched Borat. Pretty funny. I like bewildered civilians.

well you have to admit, that John Tucker did deserve to die."

The 1990 remake of Night Of The Living Dead is on now. It's just plain bad. Right before that, I watched the Postman. Meta may flame me, but I'm still a Kevin Costner fan. As a matter of fact, I think The Upside Of Anger may be starting soon...

The Postman is actually my favorite Post-Apoc. movie of all time. People tend to bash it more because it came out around the time of Waterworld than based on its own merits.

Hey, I still like Waterworld as well. Those damn smokers.

Go get 'em, Sub Mariner.
