Tel Aviv Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Got that free in the Sunday Times weeks ago. Any good?
Laozi Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I bunch of shorts and whatnot my friend put together for me, right now Harrison Bergeron, losely based on the Vonnegut novel of the same name starring Sean Astin. Not that great, really. People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.

LadyCrimson Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 MI: 3. At least I think it was 3. The one where he's married and all that. Total action/explosion fun, but not much else. “Things are as they are. Dark_Raven Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Halloween 2-3. It is Samhain after all. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Musopticon? Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 ^Same here. It might just be the best movie I've seen this year. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai. So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds
Pidesco Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Marie Antoinette A pretty awesome teen movie. Musopticon? Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Can you elaborate? I dislike Kirsten Dunst, but everything else seems like good. Espeically since I've always liked the character's history. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Pidesco Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 It's the story of a teenage girl who's forced to live with another family in a foreign country, and deal with problems that are above and beyond anything anyone should ask of such a young girl. And Kirsten Dunst is a pretty great actress. I've never really understood why some people dislike her so much. Draken Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 (edited) Isn't it supposed to be a cross between modern and Victorian times? All I know is that after seeing the trailer I started using the phrase, "Letting everybody down would be my greatest unhappiness" a lot more often. I'm watching M:I 3 tonight. Should be a decent action flick; hopefully it won't try too hard to have a meaningful plot and accept that it's a movie where stuff blows up. Pidesco Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 (edited) Isn't it supposed to be a cross between modern and Victorian times? It does have a modern feel to it, however you should brush up on your history, as Marie Antoinette has, of course, precisely bugger all to do with Victorian times. Oh, and watch out for the All Star! Baley Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 And Kirsten Dunst is a pretty great actress. I've never really understood why some people dislike her so much. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> She's ugly Scratch that - she's hideous. Like, I wouldn't hit it without a doggy-bag flung freely over her huge-ass head. PS: La mari
Pidesco Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 And what does that have to do with her acting ability? Baley Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Fugly actresses playing gorgeous debutantes make Baley sad and moody. Plus, she's about as charismatic as a dead trout.
Pidesco Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Have you ever seen Cat's Meow? She's most impressive in that. And likeable, too. Baley Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 No, but I did watch her take on the Holocaust. And by hers I mean the people who wrote and directed The Devil's Arithmetic. Suffice to say, it lowered my rancor towords Robbie Benigni by a full mile of guilt and middle-class angst. Still, all expletives used and ejected, she was good, or at least okay, in Bring it On. Dushku totally stole the show, though.
Pidesco Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 I hate Dushku with a passion. Baley Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 You are homosexual. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Pidesco Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Have you ever seen "Tru Calling"? It's so bad that anyone involved with it should die a long slow death. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364817/ And that's an awful picture. Blarghagh Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 I haven't seen it, but that title along with the main characters name form a pun which on it's own begs for murder.
Draken Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 It does have a modern feel to it, however you should brush up on your history, as Marie Antoinette has, of course, precisely bugger all to do with Victorian times. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ha! Good one. As if someone like me would even attempt to brush up on history. Sorry for the mistake, though. I did once see this show called Tru Confessions, again with the main character called Tru, and it almost made me cry. Shia LaBeouf was in it. SHIA. I watched MI:3, it was good. Lots of good action scenes, although i guessed a couple of the plot twists. Seriously, only like, three people can touch my body
