Ah, Fallout 1 and Fallout 2. The days where real CRPGs were made without lame gimmicky minigames and cinematics. I miss them.

The cinematics in Fallout were pretty awesome.

I mean cinematic gameplay as found in KotOR, not the FMVs.

At least they were better than someo f the games today. Compared tot he Fallout games Oblivion, the KotORs, Morrowind, and NWN are all crap.

Fallout is an excellent game, but nostalgia is a powerful influence.

Screw nostalgia. I still play Fallout.

Yeah, the system is awesome on it's own right, I'd put Special next to Vampire in pure functionality, but the games are chewn by the tooth of time pretty heavily. Don't get me wrong, I had an amazing time few months ago as unarmed-stealth specialist(Buddhist palm!), but it's not as great as it was back in 00 when I first played the thing.

Fallout will always have a special place in my heart. Not a single game has offered me that same amount of pure gameplay and atmosphere as Fallout.
