Kor Qel Droma Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 On my way to the store I heard Long Cool Woman ( In A Black Dress) by the Hollies. Great song. Then on the back way the local radio station followed it with 'Self Esteem' by the Offspring. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.

Plano Skywalker Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Demons and Wizards -- Touched By the Crimson King (album) good stuff.
Darth Drabek Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 (edited) You bet. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Nature Boy I need to pick up that B-sides and rarities album. Just checked out the tracklist, and an acoustic version of "The Mercy Seat" sounds pretty cool to me. Also, my first experience with Nick Cave (besides "Red Right Hand") was hearing "Time Jesum Transeuntum Et Non Riverentum" on Songs in the Key of X, a compilation of songs featured in and inspired by the X-Files TV show. I remember thinking it was one of the saddest songs I'd ever heard. I see that song made it onto the Rarities album, which is good, because it needs to be heard by more than the four people who own Songs in the Key of X. Edit: now listening to The Lemonheads - Favorite T I think Evan Dando might be a bit of an egomaniac. Baley Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 (edited) I rather like his Rainy Days in Soho cover. The Ballad Of Robert Moore And Betty Coltrane too, I love that one. Anyone listened to the disk he did with Shane MacGowan? Slick Rick, oh man, now there's a character, I've always thought of him as one of the funniest, just simply coolest, MCs in hip-hop. Heard he's releasing a new album this year, his last one was good, actually, just about all his albums have been at least okay. Edited August 3, 2006 by Baley

I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai. So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds

Baley Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 You gonna cut yourself a little? And those are some of the worst, cliche-ridden, whitebread lyrics this side of Venom or, God, Slayer. Though, I suppose, "Christ Illusion" is worth a chuckle. Poor Lombardo. Poor Hades. Then Daniel took the harp and went high on the hill, And he blew across the meadow like a whippoorwill. He played out his heart just the time to pass, But as he looked to the ground, he noticed no shadow did he cast.
