213374U Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 No. But you get to beat everyone into a bloody pulp real good. You can't beat the feeling. - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.
Darque Posted June 24, 2006 Author Posted June 24, 2006 I'm not sure, I've only played it as Brujah and Tremere so far, seems the Brujah get less (since they don't get the uber item the tremere get) Storywise I haven't really noticed anything different. Though I suppose that'll change after I play it a few more times.
Darque Posted June 24, 2006 Author Posted June 24, 2006 No. But you get to beat everyone into a bloody pulp real good. You can't beat the feeling. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, they are wicked cool in combat. That's for darn sure.
Dark_Raven Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 What does it take to get the Chantry as your new home? I already did the diseased blood quest forMax. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Darque Posted June 24, 2006 Author Posted June 24, 2006 Tremere Diseased blood for the Tremere (you can do it for the Anarch "and" tremere and still get it) Kill the Gargoyle for Strauss... and don't tell Isaac about the connection between the Gargoyle and Strauss.
Dark_Raven Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 I thought so. I have to wait until I go to Hollywood I guess. In the mean time I live in that dump in Santa Monica. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Darque Posted June 24, 2006 Author Posted June 24, 2006 It's a small sacrifice The Tremere haven is better than the Skyeline Apt. one and the item is well worth it Make sure to check your item chest when you get it.
Dark_Raven Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 I try and make use of any item I find. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.

Darque Posted June 24, 2006 Author Posted June 24, 2006 I try and make use of any item I find. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Even the severed arm?
Dark_Raven Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 That was good for a laugh, since you could not sell it. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Dark_Raven Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 Too bad you can't rip limbs off while they are still alive. A good one for A Brujal would be "I'm going to rip your arm off and beat you with it". Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
kumquatq3 Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Yuck, I just left it on the ground <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Blowing up people into a billion little pieces = Darque happy One severed arm = ewwwwwwwwwwww ......women "
Atreides Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Guess you don't have to touch anything when you blow things up from a distance. Spreading beauty with my katana.
CoM_Solaufein Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Using the blood spell Suicide is good, since no one knows you were behind that persons demise. Darque Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 Up to the Hallowbrook in my Tremere game. Had to give up the armor heather gives you for piece of mind... seeing as she vanished before I could cut her loose, but still before the Hallowbrook. Heather > Riot Gear Not sure what happened, but a reload to a slightly earlier save fixed it On the gun and fun note: Killmatic is beyond awesome. I wish I had listened to Alan last game, I can't believe I actually beat the game last time... I was using fairly low end weaponry
alanschu Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 The high level guns are very, very effective. Plus you can get mountains of ammo for them. For much of the game I used the anaconda as my long range "sniper rifle." The 'Jaime Sue' is a oneshot kill weapon if you use it when zoomed in, and the Steyr AUG is great for supernatural beasties. Toss in the Desert Eagle (don't remember what the game name is for it) and even the Glock (can't remember its name either) and you can be decked out with an impressive arsenal.

Darque Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 It didn't end in a sad way, I reloaded from a slightly earlier save and let her go once I realized she wasn't in the apartment. I'd rather have my favorite pet ghoul live than get the armor Plus, I figured it was a bug or something.... Up to the Kuei Jin now... Anarchs ftw again I still can't get over how badly I lucked my way through the last game I had a defense of like 6, firearms of 6 and used the Glock to kill Ming Xiao How I managed that is beyond me at this point (w00t)
alanschu Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Pick the "solo" route. I preferred its ending over the Anarch one.
Darque Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 I'll probably do that on game 3 If I could only decide on what to do next... I'm toying with one of 3 possibilities. 1) Ventrue Dominate/persuader 2) Malkavian or Nosferatu stealth ninja 3) Rabid Gangrel
Llyranor Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Malkavian, ****(GA+***G)ASJG darn it. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Dark_Raven Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 A glock? Heh I used a combination of the Desert Eagle and the Bull Pup rifle to bring her down. Melee was to fatal in my case to use. It didn't end in a sad way, I reloaded from a slightly earlier save and let her go once I realized she wasn't in the apartment.
