alanschu Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 I use the Sprites too, but let's face it, HOI2 isn't exactly OMG W0wz0rs grafix!!
Llyranor Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Heh. There was a time when I'd have gone 'looks boring' over these. Gameplay if king (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Kor Qel Droma Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 I just wrapped up the regular ending on God of War. They really spun a good yarn. It was a fun, and frustrating game. That being said I don't think I'm in any rush to get into God mode any time soon. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Darque Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 I just started Kuon I haven't gotten very far, but so far this is turning out to be a wicked horror game
Diamond Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Civ IV, archipelago map. Incredibly slow expansion at first, as well as incredibly low production speed in island cities. However AI is "dumber" with naval units, I have the lowest cumulative power (naval units mostly), but won every war so far.

I finally made it up the first one just to find a second. Color me unimpressed. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 (edited) I just started Kuon I haven't gotten very far, but so far this is turning out to be a wicked horror game <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That got put back so many times I lost track of it. There was another one set in space that was supposed to have been released the same week too (survival horror). edit. It's called Echo Night Beyond. Edited April 25, 2006 by ShadowPaladin V1.0 I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327[/snapback]
Calax Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 lets see... the ones I'm slowly working on are: Devil may cry 3 Spec Edi as virgil Hulk: Ultimate destruction Viewtiful Joe Tiberian Sun Empire at War (using the Absolute Mod) X3 Cod2 Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
Hurlshort Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 I just finished the Indigo Prophecy. It was pretty awesome, and just the right length for me. I definitely see the complaints about the last part of the game, but I didn't think it was too bad. Still, more detective stuff would have been cool.
astr0creep Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Still on God of War - Challenge of Atlas, stupid Gorgons! System Shock 2 - On Deck 5, Recreation - Stupid big robot thingies when no AP ammo left! Dragon Quest 8 - Enflammed Abbey - Stupid lack of free time! Civ 4 - On and off - Stupid need for sleeping, eating, living! http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/

Darque Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 System Shock 2 - On Deck 5, Recreation - Stupid big robot thingies when no AP ammo left! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Use the Wrench (w00t) No, I'm not being sarcastic or funny. If you get REAL close, they can't hit you as their arms are spaced way out. Plus they can't move very quickly or with any agility. So if you can get between the arms and then beat them with the Wrench... they explode rather impressively At least if we're talking about the ones I think you're talking about.

I haven't use the wrench in the game so far. And the Crystal Shard barely scrathes them so I didn't think the wrench would be effective. I will try your suggestion however thank you! http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/
Darque Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 You... haven't used the wrench? At ALL? omg.. that should have been your main weapon for the first 2-3 decks :D Not only does it smash those many creeps it saves your precious ammo Oh, yeah, one more thing. Assault Rifle > All other weapons.
alanschu Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Yeah, the assault rifle is definitely strong. The final fight against Shodan was laugh out loud funny because of the Assault Rifle. The evil geometric shapes were much more annoying! I'm surprised he didn't use the wrench as well. I always saved my ammo, even in my first playthrough. I got the impression it didn't exactly come in bunches
Darque Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 I'm a conserver, so I used it by default Heck, I even farmed ammo on the starter deck :D
alanschu Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Did you head back with that disassembler or whatever the heck it's called and turn all those plants into nanites?
Darque Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 Yup If it could be broken down, it got recycled :D
CoM_Solaufein Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 F.E.A.R. is the game I have been playing in my free time. Great game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How scary is that game? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not scary yet so far. I am not that far into the game yet. Is it suppose to be scary? ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 Still playing Dragon Quest VIII Just made over 200,000 in the casino , not sure whether to invest it in 4 suits of liquid metal , or the whip for Jessica. Probably the latter as she did over 2k damage on the Red Dragons Graveyard boss (with Yangus helmsplitting it's defence to zero) when she went "Super Saiyan". I have to agree with Volourn.
