Benjamin Korr Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Boy tough call. I voted for Soresu, I used it alot because of its awesome blaster defence, but I am also very very fond of Makashi, and Niman. Juyo is nice sometimes too, but I wouldnt say its my favorite. And Ataru can fall of the face of the galaxy as far as I'm concerned, cant stand that form. "The dimmest light can shatter the darkest night, and the light I carry is in no way dim."
Xard Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Meh, force powers in kotor's are just spamming. Run-storm-storm-run etc. That is why I dont play consulars much. And in k2 Guardians a lot of fp too How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them. - OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)
Sturm Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 not as much as consular + sith lord best combination for FP
Xard Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Yeah, but I like saber combat more. Back to the topic anyway How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them. - OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)
Das 3ntchen Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 i dnt rly care becse im jedi master and use force froms but i think yuyo is the best
Dark Lord Shawn Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 (edited) I like shien. Edited April 9, 2006 by Dark Lord Shawn
Jedi Brute Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 I only use one, to make the game a bit more of a challenge. As soon as I am trained in them obviously. Jedi WM/ Sith M : Juyo Jedi W/ Sith A : Shien Jedi M/ Sith L : Shii-Cho I dunno why I do these, but I do.
vaxen83 Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 (edited) Ataru works well, especially as either a Marauder/Weapon Master. Would usually use Determination for Jedi Master/Sith Lord. However, against Jedi/Sith with sabers, Contention helps quite a bit. Generally like Contention and Ataru. Edited July 3, 2006 by vaxen83 Deep from within... Victims live a life of fantasy. chris the jedi killer Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 makashi :D !!!!!!!!!!!! A coward dies a thousand deaths but a soulja dies one~ 2Pac
Unabomber Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Depends on the style of character. For example: Critical hit specialists: I'll use Shien, simply because you get a very nice boost to the damage you do on a critical strike (3X instead of 2X), and if you have master critical strike, you're going to do the most damage. Ataru or Juyo will increase your chances of making a critical hit, but that's really not too significant if you have master critical strike.
JediKnight72 Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 I never really bothered much. i only used the ones for lightsaber and lazer blasts
vaxen83 Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Would use Determination if unable to think of other forms for saber fighting. Deep from within... Victims live a life of fantasy. Some see salvation as an act of God, a few look within for it. 朱宣澧
Ferr.M Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 I'd say Makashi is my favorite form... I only ever got Shii-Cho, Makashi, and Soresu... "May the Force be with you."
GreyJedi Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Niman in my opinion is the best style. It has no weaknesses and no strengths bringing balance. Most people will say juyo because of the additional attack, but you sacrifice 4 defense and have a -4 to force saves. Niman is overlooked because most people see the +1 to everything not that great, but instead of lowering one of your areas like blaster deflection or force saves you gain a little in every area. The only downside to using Niman is that you don't excell in any particular area. Niman is for skilled players only because most noobs will need the extra attack or lightsaber damage to get them through the game, but using Niman the entire game efficiently is a challenge and in my opinion the most rewarding. There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the Force
Enha_Dyone Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Shii sho, simpliest and usefullest technic...:D "Revan was power. It was like staring into the heart of the Force. Even then, you could see the Jedi he would slay etched on his soul." ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ferr.M Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 My lightsaber form depends on which position I'm in. If I am surrounded by people with blasters then I use Soresu, if dark jedi or just random bad guys are around me then I use Makashi, and so on and so on. But again, Makashi is my favorite. "May the Force be with you."
darth maddison Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 I use which is best at the momment in the game.
Krookie Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Never changed it. Honostly. I never really thought I had too.

DeathScepter Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Sentinel, Jedi Watchman, and Sith Assasins will get this form. Niman is a good form to use.
