LadyCrimson Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 First 3rd of Brother's Grim. That's all I could watch. Wasn't terrible, just not my thing/I got bored and went to play a PC game instead. Visually interesting tho. “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
Hurlshort Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Brother's Grimm was far from what I expected. It definitely wasn't a kids flick. I wasn't wowed by it, but I didn't think it was a waste of time. It had the hot girl from The Matrix.
Dark_Raven Posted March 3, 2006 Author Posted March 3, 2006 Interview with a Vampire. I prefer the book myself. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
metadigital Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Brothers Grim was another great film from Terry Gilliam. If you didn't like it, you probably didn't understand it. :| OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT

Jediphile Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Most recent movie? Syriana. Very political, but then I like that. Wasn't really as enlightening as I thought it would have been, though. Or are we talking outside the cinema too? In that case the most recent would be the 3/4 Musketeer movies from the 70s with Michael York and Oliver Reed - still a blast. I recommend them highly Visit my KotOR blog at Deadly Forums.
Oerwinde Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Edit: Just Friends. An ok romantic comedy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My sister dragged me to that at the theater... I don't think I had laughed that hard at a movie since BASEketball. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
Oerwinde Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Just friends was a good time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It will be the first chick flick I buy on DVD. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.

metadigital Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 I just watched serenity again, after trying to watch Spider-Man (and really not getting into it). Serenity was awesome. Did I mention that it was a good film? OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
kirottu Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Spider Man has two good scenes. The one with Bruce Campbell and when Green Goblin dies. This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.

Pidesco Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 (edited) Just saw Brokeback Mountain and Munich. They're both quite awesome. I think this is the first time that I've seen the Oscar nominations so well supplied with good movies. metadigital Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 I watched Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes on tv last night. What a load of steaming feculence. The best (and only watchable part) was Charlton Heston's cameo, where his last words were the same as in his first PotA film. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
alanschu Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 I never did see the remake. I had a feeling it just wouldn't be the same.
