The number he kept seeing resembled e... I have no idea why the film was called Pi. Perhaps because it's the only mathematical real number constant people know.

It doesn't matter if the mods have slapped you in the past, be it publicly or via PM. Chances are, at least 2 of your "4 warnings" are unofficial, since as our friendly, next-door moderator explained, you'll be placed under moderation indefinitely or worse when you reach 3. If you have any official warnings, you must have received some explicit notification.
