Fionavar Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Reuters It is with quite a bit of shock and sadness that this news came across my screen. I always appreciated Chris Penn's acting and I really do feel that he possessed a great deal of talent that had not yet been fully realised. I hope his family is able to celebrate who he was and what he accomplished in their time of grieving. Fionavar The universe is change; your life is what our thoughts make it - Marcus Aurelius (161)
Dark_Raven Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 I have never seen his movies but it's sad to see someone die of a young age, yes 40 is young, before they reach their potential in life. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Laozi Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 I liked Chris alot in Reservoir Dogs, not so much as the bartender in that "can I getta what-what" video. The last I saw of him he was on Law & Order CI and he didn't look well at all. People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.
Kor Qel Droma Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 He was looking more and more bloated as the years went on. I'll try to remember him more for his earlier stuff, like Pale Rider and the Best of the Best. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Arkan Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 (edited) are eye pee Edited January 26, 2006 by Arkan "Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." - Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials "I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive" - meta
DemonKing Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 He was looking more and more bloated as the years went on. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Apparently he was 270lbs when he died...and I don't think any of that was muscle.

Walsingham Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 No offence intended but if you do no exercise, take drugs, and eat crap, you get heart disease. O'course I'm hoping I'm the exception to that rule. :D "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe.
