I think tatoos are cool...as long as they are on other people.:lol:

Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

There are two tattoo parlors in campus town here in Ames. The do get frequent business from the rebel college crowd. I don't mind people having body art or piercings. Its not something I would do but hey, its their body, not mine.

I've been tempted to get one (some) but I'm too chaotic to focus on any one thing and thus by the time I figure I'll do it I'm not interested in what I was going to get to begin with

Go out with some friends, get hammered and visit a tattoo parlor. You won't know what hit you until you sober up the next day.

Ya wimp. I guess my body has adapted to it over time.

Tattoos aren't really painful either if that's something that is stopping a person from getting one.

Plenty of stamina. Just no alcohal tolerance. Doesn't stop me from drinking on occasion but when I do serious drinking I do so at home.

I have the words "Your Name" on the back of my upper arm. It's fun to go up to a girl you've never met and say, "I've got your name on tattooed on my arm."

You people mean to say Gabs showed her face (and tattoos) and I was cut off from the outside world in the mountains when she did it?

I didn't show anyone my face, just the backside of my body when I used to dance. Lot of my tattoos are on my back.

I lost all interest in tattoos when I turned 18 and could get them legally, I dont like the permanency idea either, it would be like being stuck with the same windows wallpaper all your life.

If I'd ever get one it'd either be a yin yang or a buddha, since I know those are two icons that will remain dear to me for the rest of my life.

I understand the logic of tattoos, but they can be professionally limiting, so I never had any.

Something small and nice-looking on the arm would be cool, but a tattoo like the one in the picture above is just too much. I mean, try to impress your girlfriend's parents with that thing all over your torso.

I have three

Two on my right arm, and one on my left.

I am also planing to have the name of my first born on my back(across my shoulders) when the time arises.

My mate has a decent version of the rune of torment on his arm. I've seen other people try the same thing but his really turned out quite well. I agree with Sawyer, it's all about the quality of the tattoo. **** is **** at the end of the day.
