Art lover - DL loves art, what can I say? A frequent poster in the fanart forum and owner of her own art thread. Her first post was even in an art thread. And she may deny it, but she's pretty good at art herself. The reviewer wouldn't mind seeing more art from her in the future. She also loves anime. Though the reviewer wishes she had more respect for DBZ , he's okay with her taste in anime.

Well, what can I say? DL is really one of the nicest people on these forums. Some may think of this as hormonal male teenage bias, but the reviewer honestly has great respect for her. She's intelligent (or is good at making it seem that way), and has a good sense of humor. Heck, she laughed at pixies' Supermarket thread while Gabs complained about it. She doesn't flame, but can open up a can of spam once in a while. (she may have learned the technique from Baley, who could possibly still be locked up in her cupboard) DL also likes to balance things out. For example, she's a forum member, but also likes to read. From what the reviewer gathers, she's also an athlete as well. WOW! The reviewer also learned (whilst in the form of Chupacabra) that she may have tried snake's blood! What a brave gal. In conclusion, DL is one of the most likeable members of this forum. She has few things going against her. She does share a birthday with another (in)famous board member, but hey, she can't help that. The reviewer is definitely glad to have met her. Fear the spork!

 

The reviewer is a little worried though. This report was late in the coming, and may not be up to standards and thus invoke the wrath of DL, in which case the reviewer would also have to be locked up in her cupboard. :ph34r: Oh well.

How the hell can you not know Gromnir? He's been on every BIS board since... I guess way back before IWD1. I think I first read one of his posts in 1998?

 

I genuinely like the guy, but I can't write a review for him. It'd be my luck for him to somehow pop into this thread, see his unsolicited review, and then my thread would bite it as the result of the ensuing flamefest.

 

Anyhow, Surreptishus, cough up a damned review for someone already. Kor, Pixies, Drabeck... even Mothman finally did one!

I'm in a state of perpetual boredom so I might as well participate in this little cesspool of brown-nosing and self-humiliation.

 

My so-called "target" is Mister Eldar, our ever gracious poster and thread starter. I'll try to keep this as brief as possible.

 

Now, the aforementioned gentleman is one of my most dumbfounding internet dilemmas, alongside my forever brimming passion for dreary shock porn and knowledge the masses have long deemed fruitless, I have rarely found myself in agreement with his political, religious or philosophical views, yet I have always harboured a great deal of respect for the man.

I do not know if his appellation of bibleman has been self-imposed, but I have never seen him preach to the skeptical opposers of his Christian ideals, and for that I thank him.

I am an arrogant atheist with quite a grandiose superiority complex, I'm not particularly proud of myself or of my past actions, I do live with the consequences and with my persona, which is sometimes hard and other times almost impossible, I am aware of my slight digression, bare with me. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I like Eldar and I'm not really sure why, I believe it's because he's a nice chap, and there are so few of them these days, or perhaps it's because he's been the voice of profound reason on a handful of occasions, who's to say?

 

A hollow thought has been forming in the darkened section of my psyche, but alas it has vanished as fast as it was born, not a shame by any objective standard.

 

I have rejected grading him on the principle that my admiration for a living creature should not be expressed with sterile numbers, nor should it be categorized, even if this is all but a simple game.
