Ezekiel 4:12 And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.

14 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.

15 Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith

Ezekiel 23:

20 There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.

Bible porn?

Don't you believe it. I was visiting Oxford a couple of months back, went to Christchurch for the Sunday evensong. Fething purple shafts and whatnot being mentioned. I think it was to do with the song of Solomon. I bet Ashcroft would ban it if he ever bothered to read a bible.

I guess it's just personal taste, but the Quran's writings don't really impress me that much.  Mostly I find it boring, sometimes confusing, and VERY repetitive.  And the way it butchers the biblical tales and prophets is just downright sad

;)

...

As for your part about knowledge, the Quran is mostly teaching-based, and not a lot of storytelling.  The Quran is meant to be memorized, so it naturally focuses more on teachings than stories.  And as I said above, the tales differ from the biblical tales in many aspects, and the way the Quran shows the prophets is also quite contradictory to the bible as well.

From what I've read, it looked like Muhammad just took bits and peices from Christianity and Judaism, threw it together, and combined it with his beliefs to make a new religion.  It hardly displays an in-depth knowledge of the Bible.  I apologize for sounding harsh, but you probably already have a good idea of my attitude toward Muhammad and his teachings.  (and I'm please don't think I'm lashing out at you, just giving my take on the matter)  :)

Seems like your lack of scientific approach to religious studies is just as much a roadblock to your own comprehension as I feared.

Perhaps you might benefit from understanding confirmation bias.

There were 3 good arguments that Jesus was Black:

1. He called everyone 'Brother'.

2. He liked Gospel.

3. He couldn't get a fair trial.

But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Italian:

1. He talked with his hands.

2. He had wine with every meal.

3. He used olive oil.

But then again there were 3 good arguments that Jesus was an Australian:

1. He never cut his hair.

2. He walked around barefoot all the time.

3. He loved fishing.

But there were also 3 good arguments that Jesus was Irish:

1. He never got married.

2. He lived at home until he was 33.

3. He was sure his mother was a virgin and his mother was sure he was God.

BUT.... ladies you will like this one......

The most compelling evidence of all - 3 proofs that Jesus was a woman:

1. He fed a crowd at a moments notice when there was no food.

2. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just

didn't get it.

3. And even when he was dead, he had to get up because there was more

work to do

He was arabic not black. You may only see black and white but I see multiple shades of black and white.

EDIT: Just read your post, that's not too funny.

*sigh* I don't know what you hoped to prove or why you seem to have nothing better to do than to berate, insult, and argue with someone half your age, but I guess I'll just have to demolish yet another one of your feeble attempts at trying to prove me wrong. You didn't even attempt to back up your statement, you just threw out a random insult and a link, in typical meta fashion. ;) Actually, it was more of a pathetic attempt at insults, attention, and sounding intelligent than anything else.

Perhaps if you weren't so thick-headed metaflamer, you'd have seen I even stated my take on the Quran's phonetic appeal was opinion. As for my part on the Quran garbling biblical stories and characters, it's not "confirmation bias" (something you seem to have a problem with yourself), it's truth. It makes mistakes both concerning the Bible and secular history. Muhammad didn't really have access to the Bible, so naturally he would get a lot of things wrong. Do you want examples? I'll give them to you, if that's what you desire. *ahem*

For Biblical errors:

1. The Quran states Abraham's father was Azar, but in the bible it was Terah. (Sura 6:74)

2. It was his son Isaac that he was told to sacrifice, not Ishmael. (Sura 37:100-112)

3. The Quran refers to some characters by different names, for example: Goliath became Jalut, Saul became Talut, Jonah became Yunus, etc.

4. It was Pharoah's daughter whom the Bible says adopted Moses, not his wife as the Quran claims. (28:8,9)

5. Crucifixion was not used in the time of the Pharoah, as the Quran claims in Sura 7:124.

6. Mary did not give birth to Jesus under a Palm tree, but a stable (according to the Bible) Sura 19:22

7. Muhammad confused Jesus's mother Mary with the Mary who was the sister of Moses and Aaron in Sura: 19:28.

Oh, and there are others, believe me, and I'll post them if you want more.

As for secular errors:

1. Sura 105 - it claims Abrah's elephant army was defeated by birds dropping stones of baked clay on them, when historical evidence indicates it was smallpox breakout that caused them to retreat.

2. Muhammad claimed the Kabah was built by Abraham, when evidence indicates it was built by pagans to worship a black rock that fell from the sky.

3. Sura 20:87,95 says the Jews made the golden calf in the wilderness at the suggestion of the Samaritan. Funny, considering Samaria did not exist in that time period. :p

Oh, but you aren't one for details, are you? :nuke:

Is that enough, or shall I go on? Honestly, you might want to try getting out more if you have nothing better to do than to constantly try to prove you're better than someone half your age. Does that make you feel big, or something? Do you take children's lunch money away from them too? I don't know why you insist on being rude and arrogant, but I guess it's to be expected from you. But please, keep arguing, and throw out your usual round of insults, contradictions, and name-calling. It always makes me laugh to see an adult behaving like a little child. :p

HAHAHA! Amuse me again!!!
