Pidesco Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 I'm having my first go at Lionheart. It has been said before and I'll say it again: Barcelona's fun but the rest of the game is awful. Still, I don't see why this hack and slash fest is worse than Diablo. The way I see it, people that love Diablo, should love Lionheart too. Unless they think Barcelona is boring. Gabrielle Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Lionheart?? Comparing it to Diablo? There is no comparison, Diablo is far superior.
Darque Posted February 19, 2006 Author Posted February 19, 2006 I thought Lionheart was fun, but I didn't like how they did magic.... seemed really underpowered.

thepixiesrock Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 I was playing Phantom Menace. Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!http://theatomicdanger.iforumer.com/index....theatomicdangerOne billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.

6 Foot Invisible Rabbit Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 (edited) Lionheart is the second worse game Interplay/BIS I have ever played but it doesn't hold a candle to the crappiness of Diablo. Edited February 19, 2006 by 6 Foot Invisible Rabbit Harvey
Darque Posted February 19, 2006 Author Posted February 19, 2006 Lionheart?? Comparing it to Diablo? There is no comparison, Diablo is far superior. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Lionheart was built in a psuedo-diablo fashion. D2 might be a superior game, but that doesn't change the fact they are similar.
karka Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Lionheart is the second worse game Interplay/BIS I have ever played but it doesn't hold a candle to the crappiness of Diablo. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> First?
6 Foot Invisible Rabbit Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 First? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. Harvey
mkreku Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Did I mention that the music in Boiling Point is really, really good? Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Hurlshort Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 I know a lot of people who enjoyed BG: DA, whereas I've never heard of a Lionheart fan. DA was just not an RPG. It was an action game built for the console audience. Personally I hated it, but it was what I expected.

If it's name was "The Dark Alliance of Dark Forces" or something like that, it wouldn't be a problem.
Darque Posted February 20, 2006 Author Posted February 20, 2006 Finished REZero (w00t) .............again Good points: Good game features and puzzles, nice atmosphere. Bad points: Story doesn't quite mesh with the other games in the series, virtually no horror. Seems like someone thought that zombies = horror....... umm... no.
alanschu Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Did I mention that the music in Boiling Point is really, really good? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's a holiday tomorrow, but I'm going to see if my local store is open and if they still have their copy.
Ichabod7 Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Finished Gladius yeasterday (great game!): then started XMen II (also still playing SW Battlefront, ESPN2k5 and 2k4, Morrowind GotY)
alanschu Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Just played through SS2 with a friend. Pending a decision to purchase Boiling Point, I'll probably go back to conquering the USSR.
Diamond Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 OK, nostalgia wins and I've just ordered Diablo 2.
