Vashanti
I think my favorite part is the exhiliration and anticipation after just having seen the intro scroll fade out, hearing the awesome musical score, and having the camera pan down to whatever planet is in the background, thus kicking off the movie ... Dark Moth
The Ending. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ^^^ Saw that coming a mile away. (if you notice in one of the scenes when he's just tapping darth Vader's lightsaber tip, Obi-Wan's lightsaber looks like a force pike.) They could have made that fight so much better......(sigh) If money is the root of all evil.....why is the world not destroyed?
Draken
The scene where Han walks into Leia's room, and the music's all BOOM CHUGGA LUGGA LUGGA BOOM and he's like "Can you scrub this lotion on my back?" and she's all "Okay", and the- Wait. That was that porno I rented. *pause, one, two, three* But seriously folks... Seriously, only like, three people can touch my body
SteveThaiBinh
I remember the part in Return of the Jedi when the Emperor and Luke are watching the rebel fleet get destroyed through the window, and the Emperor is taunting Luke about it. I suppose that's my favourite bit, because it's the part that always comes to mind. It's so long since I've seen it, though, I'm sure my remembered version is highly edited from the original. The endings of the new series weren't good, because there was still a possibility that Jar Jar could reappear during the credits to do a little joke or outtake, or even singing the theme song. Akhan225
The Obi-Wan Annakin fight in SW3. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Uh..yeah. One of the best parts. Also loved the Death of The Jedi sequences with Ki-Adi-Mundi, Aayala Secura, Plo-Koon...you get the idea. The sequence had a great musical score interwined with Yoda's greif. Awesome cinematic experience. The end was especially great when Yoda beheaded both clone troopers in one swift motion. Gorth
The end scene of Ep III takes first prize. Lucas said something about not making any more (SW) movies. Great joy and celebration (w00t) On a more serious note, the runners up would be hearing the music score and watching the Star Destroyer that just kept going, gliding across the big screen for the first time. Another runner up would be the sequence of scenes involving Luke, Vader and the Emperor on the Death Star. Last runner up, the fight sequence with the Hoth base and the ground troopers and the snow speeders against the imperials and their AT-AT's, not to mention the ensuing escape/evacuation sequence... “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. Gromnir
luke: I'm not afraid. yoda: Ohhh...you will be, you will be. ... yoda were nothing but a silly looking puppet, but with the scene we identify above, Gromnir realized that he had bought so completely into the story and characters and the whole star wars thing, that a little green puppet with grover's voice from sesame street, could give us the willies & be cool at same time. dammit, THAT is movie magic. HA! Good Fun! btw, a moment not in the movie, but immediately 'pon leaving Empire were pretty impressive too. end Empire with the bad guys winning and luke handless and han carted off imbedded in a giant hershey bar... took some big brass ones for lucas to do that... and Gromnir ain't even a star wars fan. Commissar
First Death Star trench run. The second Death Star trench run is probably my second favorite. There have been cool effects in the prequel trilogy, and I like Ewan MacGregor, but they just can't hold a candle to the original trilogy.
hysrix
I liked the battle on Jabba's sail barge in Return of the Jedi the most. That was so cool and I'll always remember it; especially R2 popping the lightsaber out and Luke flipping up and catching it, and you see that he has a nifty looking green lightsaber for the first time. Oh, that was sweet. I'm also a big fan of the lightsaber duels and lightsabers in general, so any scenes involving lightsabers I think are awesome. Oh, that was sweet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What sticks in my mind about that scene is Boba Fett's "death". That was oddly funny...and yet pathetic. Come on, he's the galaxy's best bounty hunter (not to mention a favorite character of mine for over a decade)...and he's taken out by a blinded smuggler? Oh, and favorite scene? I never saw EPIII, partly because I lost interest after EPII...the magic I remembered in its predecessors seemed...lacking. Guess I should see it some time now...but anyway, I love the scene in the final battle, where Green leader slams into the super star destroyer's bridge, then it collides with the second Deathstar. The look on the deck officer's face before he explodes is priceless.
